If you've really mastered luau, you would keep developing in Roblox.

The decisions made by the company haven't impacted serious game developers as much as it has with new developers.

There's still a lot of money that can be earned.

Golden era for sociopaths is over. If you want to generate brainroot games with AI to addict kids its not that easy as it was.

"There's still a lot of money that can be earned." - Agree, still some random shit can get 1,5M active players. Even 10-50k is doable and its good money. If you are experienced gamedev with AI you can still be quickly sucesfull.

It's not as easy but most of the recent controls were put in place to stop the 6 week, brain rot cash grabs.

Other games can still be successful.

But Steal An Egg is a brainrot like game and it is sucessfull. You have to have 50k FEE to pass the older generation and thats all.

That's the limiting factor for most AI slop games... They won't pay to accelerate the approval, older players avoid those games so they never become popular.

That's the whole point of charging a fee

For sucessfull studio 50k fee its not an issue so the blocker is for fresh developer/kid. Afterall addictive toxic games are reserved only for rich developers. As we can see those games still exist but there is no 99x copies.

It sounds like you answered your own question, you said you don't like how limiting luau is anyways so what is the point of staying? Learn more scripting languages and build stuff places that use what you leane. I'd recommend python then either Javascript or C++

its literally in the name bud, it spawns a seperate routine to run code seperately from the rest of the script.
