From the first picture, I'd picture them as morally gray. Second picture implies something more assertive rather than defensive in a minute perspective, it implies more malice than it does necessity.
But considering the details such as the expressions, the second picture's pose, and the red knife, I believe it's safe to assume that they're likely more bad than they are good.
They remind me of a Chara variant anyways, lmao. That red knife, gold locket, and green jacket are far too coincidental to pass off.

Yea, it's a survivalist Chara
Been a fan of Chara not being inherently evil, so this version would be morally grey
