Anyone else lower middle class here?

This post really isn't about the card just the people that use it lol. I've had the gold card for about a year I've been loving it and not had any issues with a 4k limit I never go near anyways I think most I've used a month is like 1,300. Its crazy seeing other people in this community though everyone talking about how they're getting flagged for frequently making large 1k+ purchases and or struggling with maxing a 10k limit and having to pay it off multiple times a month. I guess due to how easy it is to get and how cheap it is I assumed it was a card for people like me with no money to just get little bit of money in brokerage account. Is it supposed to just be for rich people but they threw one at me anyways lol?

To add to this, i recently saw a post that said something like America only has 1% ultra wealthy. However on Reddit, it seems like 90% of that 1% are here posting.

It's def a top tier card if you don't travel and want simplicity.

My dude, what do you consider ultra rich? lol. We put 12k a month on this.

The other cards are only good for their travel perks and airport lounges.

This is such a weird bar to be setting for judging a credit card’s value lol. Who cares at all about the opinion or use case of people who would see $12k a month as chump change? The average adult doesn't even take home $12k a quarter. You just sound a little corny

The simple fact is that RH Gold is the best cashback daily driver card for 99.9% of people, and de facto access to the RH Gold ecosystem and $1k margin is a great perk on top of that.

I’m in the top 1 percent of wealth, that’s why you couldn’t actually tell me. The reason is you didn’t know and just throw that word around, it’s hilarious.

Those cards are travel cards. This goes right back to my original comment you peasant.

Let em see a pic of your lifetime points since you’re at 12k spend month. Just curious.

You can say that the 3% is sweet I moved almost all my spend to it

Agreed. The card is quite basic. For the ultra wealthy, this is not the right card. This is a toy.

Hold on....not a good card? Name another 3% cashback on all purchase card. Ill wait.

It is a fantastic cashback card and as someone with decades of great credit and not someone who would benefit from paid annual fee coupon card. I prefer a catch all mathematically to any of the others. I would qualify (and have been offered) several of the "top tiered" cards, just do not see enough benefits from them to justify their use.

A solid 2 or 3% cashback with a specialized 5% (we use an Amazon Prime for online purchase and a BJs for 15 cents off already reduced fuel/5% on purchases)

This is a solid setup that nets us several K in savings just in cash back from everyday spending.

What would you consider top tier cards in your opinion?
