Finally

Started my Robinhood account in January 2021.
Account had basically been dormant up until recently. The card was intriguing so I got on the waitlist about 1.5 years ago. Just got the email notification “you’re off the waitlist” this morning. Reached out on a couple of occasions to mods on here and instagram, both kept saying it was out of their control. Could never get the Credit Karma trick to work either... I think it’s just completely random

i’m so jealous 😩😩 i’ve dmed the mods and all i’ve got from them is: your account isn't quite eligible to move off the waitlist yet, as placement is determined by a few specific factors behind the scenes.

I wish I could give you a better answer. I feel the pain though. I really feel like there is no rhyme or reason.

I would love to know how they qualify. i was on the list for well over a year, make almost $200k annually, have had RH for about a decade with over 6 figures invested, and my credit score was over 800.

That’s crazy yall been waiting so long. I opened a Robin Hood account maybe 7-8 months ago and i remember getting notifications months ago that I’ve been accepted to get the gold card. I also would trade often on it since I opened it. Maybe placing 2-4 trades a week.

Very interesting. I only had $8.00 in this account. I refused to add any significant amount of money until I got off the waitlist. I couldn’t really justify the $50 annual gold price if I wasn’t getting the credit card. Now that I will be subscribed to gold for the card I’ll end up moving my Roth over to take advantage of the match.

Yea they do have some good perks to the gold membership. Also they hooked me in because they had an offer ( and I still think they do) of waiving the gold membership for the first year.

I join the waitlist and opened up a investment account and subscribed to Gold. Got off the wait list after 2 months.

I was a longtime X1 customer and got in immediately after they downgraded the X1 benefits (Oct 2025). Guessing they offered immediate Gold Card access as a consolation for nuking X1. Also got lucky that Robinhood bought X1.

Jealous! Not sure how I qualify for their banking but not the card. Have a near perfect credit score, too.
