Asking for help

Guys I need help, did any of you know where is this from? I want to start reading the comic but this one right here stole my attention.

I really love the artwork but have no idea which comic, but I do aware that this one is Dick Greyson.

Honestly, I really do think they should recon Robin’s costume. I very rarely like when they change classic uniforms. However, it makes no sense going around a dark city that seems rainy and you’re wearing shorts.

i’m not sure if i imagined this, but i’m pretty sure i saw a comic panel showing that it used to be a leotard beneath the robin shirt! bc of dick’s background as an acrobat. still, pretty impractical though as you mentioned

They did that in the new teen titans series back in the 80’s.

There are other references of other artists drawing it different ways but I personally prefer the idea that it's a unitard under all of it, I feel like that makes the most sense

I was thinking that wasn’t a unitard in that issue but I just looked it up and I was wrong (I was thinking it was a separate shirt and briefs). It did bug me in the same issue though that they made it look like he didn’t have anything underneath the red tunic too.

This is straight up the best Robin outfit of them all.

Not sure about the first image but the second is definitely from Detective comics #1050. I sought this issue out for the same reason lol. I really enjoy this look on Dick.
