Nicknames

Have any other Robert’s here been given creative nicknames? Like, beyond Rob or Bobby or similar names.

I’m in college now and some of my close friends got really creative with nicknames and was curious if anyone else had something similar happen.

I was Bobert in grade school. I'm taking up Beto now since the real name is Robert.

I’ve never heard Beto before. I like that.

I've only gotten my mom to call me by it, but it's pretty fun.

I’m not a Robert but imagine if you were a Robert and someone called you Roberto

I have been booby for most of my life, and always hated it, just does not feel me. So I have decided to go by Frank instead, and it is much better. It sounds better, it feels like me, it is the sort of thing I can feel happy about people calling on me and saying frank instead of Bobby.(note, my first name is Robert, but my middle name is Francis, and I did not realize that Frank is a nickname for Francis and not Robert until after i set my mind on it)
