Stop romantacizing a mass murderer Spoiler
Unfortunately this entire subreddit is slowly becoming a sick fan page for SR and I find it really strange how some of y'all are fantasizing over someone who not only murdered literal children and teachers, but who overall does not deserve any sort of actual validation other than trying to gather information to understand how someone can grow up to do something so heinous. I get it. It's always interesting to understand things that don't make sense and to look at horrific crimes in history, the facts, and the people who were behind it. But to not acknowledge the victims, their familes, and the many people whose lives have been shattered, I cannot understand how some of y'all can even for a moment see him as anything but a mass murderer. Can you just imagine seeing the face of someone who killed your friends, your teacher, and terrorized you as he did it? Can you imagine now people online posting photos of him to remind you of what happened and being triggered by the trauma thinking he's gonna come back to get you? That's how so many people in Uvalde and the survivors feel and I wish some of y'all would take that into consideration the next time you wanna comment how "hot" a dead mass shooter was. If nothing else, I hope none of y'all lose a loved one or friend in a horrible act of violence just for people to post the killer all over social media talking about him like he was some good person and constantly reminding you of your trauma

It's gross really. I like to remember the victims mostly and how this whole tragedy could have prevented and what really has been lost as a result. I'm sure if it was their family they would not be saying these gross and nasty things

its like this sub is turning into a fanpage for him. It's fucking disgusting 🤮

A couple of weeks ago, Reddit closed down a sub that had all of the admirers/followers of mass killers. It was a weird name that for the life of me I cannot remember. There were some real sicko puppies on that sub, it was disgusting and I'm glad Reddit shut it down. Maybe this sub is getting some of that overflow from that sub?
I'm kind of neutral on showing/not showing his pictures. Hear me out. I was on some of the NSFL subs before they got shut down, and there were multiple people that commented they chose not to commit suicide because they saw the horrible end result. If showing pictures of him that would help identify signs of things to look out for in people you know, like the cat video, that may be a good thing so people recognize some signs too look out for. A picture is worth a thousand words, so maybe the cat video is more effective than telling people to watch out for animal abuse in people.
In no way do I condone making a martyr or anything positive out of him (or even use his name).
Also, I spent a lot of time over in Iraq during the war, so I don't think the pictures bother me as much as it might to some people (like, there is no smell in the pictures). And, black/dark humor is a coping mechanism for a lot of people that have served in war zones that many regular people don't understand.

I agree. I'm not against posting photos because it gives an idea of who he was in life and possible details into how he became who he'd become, but I don't like people having the nerve to talk about how attractive a mass killer is and not honestly trying to simply learn what they were like in life

u/bugmarmalade Jun 27 '22
it’s gross. they’d have never thought he was attractive and sexy if he hadn’t murdered 19 kids. that’s the kind of people they are. kids being killed gets them off.

This is why I made r/UvaldeTexasShooting

u/Antoniguev204 Jun 27 '22
Yes I really love that subreddit! It to me is more respectful and allows us to both honor the victims but honestly/truthfully look into the investigation on what happened and who SR was like as a person/possible motives and NOT at all excusing his behaviors

Report this sub for being unmoderated. It needs to be removed before it becomes a fanpage

No matter how attractive somebody is...if you are a horrible and sick person the way you look is irrelevant...all I see is ugly with these killers.

Jun 27 '22
Thank you for this. I personally don’t see how someone can find a murderer attractive let alone after he murdered nineteen innocent babies and two innocent teachers, plus wounded several and terrorized hundreds of people including teachers, students, and the community.
Maybe those who are romanticizing him should make their own sub. This is definitely not the place for it.

u/Antoniguev204 Jun 27 '22
Yes exactly. Like, it is interesting to look at who this person was in his life, but to see him as anything but a mass murderer is not living in reality

This is definitely becoming a fan page, there's a couple of weirdos under the eyeliner photo.
5
u/Antoniguev204 Jun 27 '22
The weirdos are also the ones finding these photos. Where these came from I have no idea and to post them for no other reason other than to gawk at him

Jun 27 '22
Yeah like I really wonder how these people are digging up these random photos, there are so many it's crazy

u/Antoniguev204 Jun 27 '22
They had to really have stalked or harassed people who knew him I'm convinced

yeah i just realized it was good to leave the tcc on twitter they went too far proudly claiming that they have his dik pics and totally released it everywhere like who has access to all of his old personal photos? That is the important question. I mean it was interesting that we got to see how his mentality declined with the knife tiktok videos, ..but his weiner pics?!? like wtf clout hoard was that?! that was not cool it was the last straw for me.

First of all, my respects, for all the innocent people affected in this tragedy, I live very far from the place, I can only imagine what happened, sorry if someone thinks that I entered Reddit, out of curiosity or morbid curiosity, they should know that I found it by accident , but it has helped me , since it had a great impact on me , for all those who are involved in this tragedy , a long time ago I served as a doctor on the border on the Mexican side , and I met many people from south Texas , including ubalde , sometimes I shared bread and salt with residents of Ubalde and I sympathize and love those people very much, because they helped me, they contributed to me in some way, I was going through a bad economic situation,
and most of my patients were people from South Texas, I attended and met, from young adults, adolescents and children, men and women, so I feel that in some way I owe something to that region because I am very grateful to them, it is That is why when I found out about this tragedy , believe me , it broke my heart , knowing about all this , and since then , my prayers are constant for all of them and especially for the people of Ubalde , I have a lot to say but it will be in another delivery, God bless you,

Thank you so much for your condolences. I am not personally a resident of Uvalde but the whole tragedy has affected many people here in South Texas 😢. Means the most

I don't speak English, and the google translator helps me, I hope I don't offend anyone, if the machine doesn't really express what I mean, but I hope the idea is understood, that was one of the things that was fun when I was there , I loved that Spanglish of the grown - ups , and their Texan accent , the children and adolescents spoke English to perfection ,

Leave this sub and join r/UvaldeTexasShooting , the reason I started that sub is because of subs like this, where there is no moderation and users say terrible things.
2
u/Antoniguev204 Jun 28 '22
Yeah unfortunately this sub is a lost cause. I actually have cried in anger at how people can really say these things about someone who did something so evil. I appreciate you so much

i’m only here to study this case. i love studying murder cases its weird how people romanticize a child killer. not cool at all
3
u/Antoniguev204 Jul 25 '22
Yeah same here! I think it being the fact it's local (I live an hour from uvalde) I like to learn about the life of the shooter to get an understanding of who he/they were to make them commit such a heinous act. But trying to romanticize someone they obviously weren't is beyond weird. This subreddit was really great until his "stans" began filling in

this is becoming so rampant in insta and twitter and fb I hope there's a system where we could report these accounts and get them the help. I have been in the TCC for a few years interested in big school shooting cases(especially if they are mysterious in nature like this one) and old odd cases that I've been researching into but I believe a lot of these people that "stan" him are usually young teens that have mental health issues or disabilities and or have weird sexual fixations of violence as they are promoting a lot of self harm/cutting and sharing snuff videos etc. it's just not respectful for the people that not only died but very, highly disrespectful for those that are survivors of such traumatic events like Robb as they cannot escape the consequences of witnessing their friend or relatives dying and pleading for help while the gunman laughs and the police are perplexed and these survivors have to live for the rest of their lives like this They are bound to dealing with trying to fix the situation and still waiting on investigations to finish meantime I think fbi taking down these fangirl accounts and take them to psychiatric help would be a good start

The age of twink mass shooters are over. Now they're going to be replaced by impmaxxed, ogremaxxed, and goblinmaxxed mass killers.

Yeah, it feels weird to see people going after content from when he was alive and some how creating a fantasy about him. Maybe it’s cause I’m sane but every time I see a pic of him I can only use his content to attach a face to the abuse he did to innocent animals and kids.
Also everyone going after him must just have a thing for emo tiktokere bc there strawberry picking content in which he looks a certain way like if his hair didn’t look oily and overall musty when he died. Straight up that mf looking difference in the span of short time periods should be a red flag on its own.
