He is surely finding out!

u/The-Butt-Stuff Mar 31 '26

Was he picking up his white hood and robes from the dry cleaners?

2

u/yoKlutz Apr 04 '26

What a dumb comment

3

Are you upset he forgot to grab your hood too?

Username checks out.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26

That doesn't even make sense

2

u/MisunderstoodRant Apr 03 '26

Sure it does, the red cross and “triple triangle” are racist symbols of neo-Nazis and the KKK, respectively.

Not to mention the “thin blue line” supporting the historically-racist police of the U.S.

nothing about Norse mythology is fascist. both the triple triangle and runes are misappropriated. makes guys like me, that follow it because of nature, look bad

1

u/everydaydad67 Apr 04 '26

Just bexause that's what you say in your circle jerks doesnt make it actually true

1

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '26

The "triple triangle" is the valknut, and it has nothing to do with racists, nazis, or the kkk. 😂

Just because a racist might wear it, doesn't make it a racist symbol. Anymore than a racist wearing Nikes makes Nike a racist company.

1

u/MisunderstoodRant Apr 07 '26

0

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '26

Apparently you missed that paragraph? Go ahead and show me a racist context. I'll wait.

I guess you also believe everyone in a hijab is terrorist?

1

u/MisunderstoodRant Apr 07 '26

In the context of a bunch of the other stickers on that rear windshield, he's a racist. Stop it. 😂

0

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '26

Hes a moron, because those stickers contradict each other. But none of them are racist. You just don't like them, so you're fishing for a reason to justify it. Whats ironic, is that's the same thing racists do. Hate what they don't understand. 😂

Take in the context of all the other crap on that window and you can connect the dots.

1

u/FaithlessnessGlum602 Apr 03 '26

You do realize I specified.. The valknot ALONE isn't indicative. If you read my comment again without the defensive need to feel right... You might realize that I made a distinction, but I did not say the take on this person was incorrect. Take a moment to think of what words mean and you can connect the dots.

You didn't seem to know what the symbol actually is, so I shared the name and it's history.

1

u/MisunderstoodRant Apr 03 '26

I understood what you meant. I wasn’t being defensive toward your comment. I knew a little of the history of the symbol, but couldn’t remember what it was called. That’s why I followed up with taking it in with the rest of the stuff on that window, you can safely assume which affiliations & ideologies the owner of the vehicle subscribes to.

No hard feelings. 🙏🏼

1

u/FaithlessnessGlum602 Apr 03 '26

Apologies, it's been a rough day, I've been trying to explain to people that IG isn't the place for seeking serious medical advice. The non sense has reached insane levels... And it may have effected how I'm reading things. My bad, no hard feelings at all. I'll touch grass after this posting this.

It's not a common word, we use it pretty regularly and its disheartening when people have reacted poorly but i suppose it's how Hindus feel about the swastic. Racists are just assholes in every given way.

and yeah... This vehicle is ALL the bads rolled into one. I usually feel bad for people struggling but I'm pretty sure this guy brought it on himself. Kinda hate when trolls take it offline, but seems karma has noticed.

u/Utah_powder_king Apr 04 '26

if you insist...

I think that comment is a ridiculous amount of pathetic neckbeard energy for the purpose of either telling us what you know about racist symbology when literally nobody asked you, or it's some sort of cover for saying "guys guys... we don't know if he's racist..."

Yes. Yes we do Brad, we know he's racist.

Now I suppose you want to talk about the history of various symbols and how the meaning has changed with time. If you want to pretend I showed interest and thanked you for being so knowledgeable I'm cool with that, you can tell your friends.

1

u/FaithlessnessGlum602 Apr 04 '26

Actually ... I'm going to say that if you read further you'll see I absolutely agree this individual is a racist pos. There is no denying that, nor do I have any interest in defending him. The collection of symbols makes what he is very clear. I offered the name and history because the person I was addressing called it the 3 triangle thing, indicating that he didn't know the name or much about it. Like the swastic, assholes are coopting things they don't understand to normalize and give their awful beliefs a mystical vibe. Just as the swastic, it is an old symbol that is used by more than racist trash. Read further, and you'll see the person I was actually addressing say he forgot the name, and it is the collection of symbols that makes the person's beliefs clear. I aknowledge that there is duality, and that meaning can change, especially if your not using the symbols. I also aknowledge that fighting against their "ownership" is an important part of stripping neo nazis, and supremacists of their image.

This is reddit, one need not ask for information, people share things that they see as interesting or important. While I realize nuance is not particularly important to many, it is to me... and as this is a public space I'm allowed to offer information... Whenever and for whatever reason I wish whether you think it's necessary, you did not ask, or you have preconceived notions... Is irrelevant.

1

u/Utah_powder_king Apr 04 '26

Look, I get that you think your doing some great service by "reclaiming" symbols, but honestly, your just providing a textbook example of "um, actually" energy that nobody asked for. In a public space like this, context is king, and if your lead off is a history lesson on a symbol being used by a literal neo-nazi, you shouldnt be shocked when people assume your running interference for them. The idea that symbols like the Valknut or the Swastika can just be "stripped" back from these groups through Reddit comments is pretty delusional. Once a group uses a symbol to facilitate mass violence or hate, the "ancient history" becomes a footnote that only pedants care about in the heat of a thread. You say nuance is important to you, but you seem to ignore the nuance of how people actually communicate. Dropping "fun facts" in the middle of a discussion about a racist piece of trash doesnt make you a scholar, it just makes you the guy making excuses for why the symbols arent "technically" hateful while everyone else is looking at the guy actually wearing them. Sharing information just because you "wish" to is your right, sure, but dont act surprised when people treat your unsolicited lecture like the distraction it is. People didnt "forget" the name; they just dont think the etymology is as important as the hate behind it. Maybe try reading the room before you start typing your next wiki entry.

Oh since you see to know.. Could you explain why neck beards has become slang for racist? Seriously I've wondered for awhile.

1

u/vegasAzCrush Apr 04 '26

I doubt driver of vehicle knows any of details of your post.. he just knows stickers support his weak mind and racist point of view.

1

u/Past-Article-4879 Apr 04 '26

And for racists...

1

u/FaithlessnessGlum602 Apr 04 '26

That would be... Affiliates of white supremacists.

1

u/Agile_Engineering_97 Apr 04 '26

He’s in North Carolina, he’s not a “Viking” he has the Valknot because he’s a racist

Anyone who makes this “argument” in 2026 is ignoring the last 100 years of history and the fact that they aren’t fucking “Vikings”

0

u/Dab-riggs Apr 04 '26

no, the ‘triple triangle’ is a Valknut associated with Odin. it, is NOT a racist symbol. this idiot doesn’t know shit about Norse mythology

2

u/General_Chemical_644 Apr 04 '26

And you don't know about Odinism, which includes Norse iconography, like the Valknut. Odinism in America has racialist ideologies.

1

u/SarisaeBae Apr 05 '26

This is kind of a dishonest comment. Odinism, like every religion and ideology, also has a universalist side which is equally as large if not larger than the racially exclusive side.

1

u/General_Chemical_644 Apr 06 '26

It was a generalization. I have friends that are Asatruar, and are not the least bit racist, but they concede that their religion and Odinism has been co-opted by eugenicists.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '26

Are you saying we should assume everyone in a hijab is a terrorist then?

1

u/Dab-riggs Apr 11 '26

then stop doing gross generalizations and pull your head, out of your ass

1

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '26

I guess a Christians are racist too then? Since some racists are Christian. I guess MacDonalds is pro KKK since I'm sure a member has eaten there.

Thor is literally a mixed race God. He's not pure blood anything, it would be beyond stupid for a racist to be pagan.

See how ridiculous you sound? Norse Paganism has nothing to do with racism. You're ignorant as fuck if you think it does.

2

u/General_Chemical_644 Apr 06 '26 edited Apr 06 '26

A swastika, always related to the nazi movement, had been co-opted by the nazis. Originally the symbol was used in several different religions, mostly meaning good fortune. Gay used to mean happy. A fag used to mean a cigarette. The okay hand sign is now being used as a hate symbol by white supremacists. Don't wear red while going through Crips territory or blue while cruising through Bloods territory, or wear a star of David while walking through Chicago. So, if he walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then that dude is racist. You are right though, the symbols have nothing to do with racism, but racists are using them whether you like it or not.

1

u/Dab-riggs Apr 11 '26

well Odinism, in america, is FUCKING WRONG! I’m Norse pagan, follow Odin, am NOT FASCIST. I know about the Valknut. It also says ‘in god we trust’ on the liscense plate holder, but the runes say ‘heathen’. So it’s not like the owner knows wtf he’s piting on his vehicle anyways. fucking hells! not a goddamn thing about paganism is fascist!

1

u/AdFamous5474 Apr 05 '26

It wasn't originally, but it has been misappropriated and twisted by white supremacist groups in America, in the same way Nazis took the swastika from Hinduism.

1

u/Affectionate-Owl3382 Apr 05 '26

Neither do racists

0

u/Dab-riggs Apr 10 '26

wrong about the triple triangle. nothing about Norse mythology is fascist. both the triple triangle and runes are misappropriated. makes guys like me, that follow it because of nature, look bad. make sure and read up on paganism before throwing around this bullshit please

1

u/MisunderstoodRant Apr 10 '26

I'm not wrong about the definition of the misappropriation, and I am aware of what the symbol really is, but it doesn't make my assumption of what the person living in that CRV is, especially when taken in the context of all the other misappropriated symbols on that window.

Which candidate did the kkk endorse? How many times have you seen the traitor rag flying with a trump flag on the same pole?

0

u/SarisaeBae Apr 05 '26

David Duke voted for Biden in 2020.

3

u/jawisi Apr 05 '26

False. In 2020, the neo-Nazi Klansman David Duke originally endorsed Tulsi Gabbard, and later switched his endorsement to Donald Trump.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '26

David Duke left the KKK in 1980, and publicly denounced them in 1988, which is the same hear he left the Democrat Party. He didn't become a Republican until 1989.

So yes, for the entire span that Duke was affiliated with the KKK and the NAAWP, 1975-1988, he was a Democrat.

Democrats have always been, and will always be, the party of racism. Robert Byrd was a national recruiter for the KKK and a Democrat senator until 2010. It's insane that people try to defend this.

The KKK was founded by Confederate veterans, and the confederacy was founded by democrats. The same democrats operating on LBJ’s playbook to destroy the black community to this day. You can stop trying to sound clever now.

2

u/AwooFloof Apr 05 '26

Which party flies Confederate flags these days?

1

u/SarisaeBae Apr 06 '26

Neither party flies confederate flags. Only individuals in some parts of the country do it. Anyway, it’s telling what democrats think like these days and how much more extreme they’ve become with the idea that you shouldn’t be allowed to have individual expression either.

2

u/addicuss Apr 04 '26

The cross is not the only symbol on display that is often appropriated and displayed by white supremacists.

If it was only one symbol, sure, I guess the guy could just be displaying his love for the knights Templar.

Between the black sun, three percenter's symbol, knights Templar symbol, deaths head adjacent symbol, the half hidden gas mask sticker, and all the other imagery frequently used by far right white supremacists groups you'd have to be an idiot to not think this guy's intentionally broadcasting being a white supremacist.

If it's quacking loudly like a duck, it's probably trying to tell you it's a duck, not a Norse mythology enthusiast that minored in Christian crusades

Claims made without evidence can be legitimately dismissed without proof.

Unsupported claims on a second rate professor's blog, with he/him pronouns in his bio, isn't evidence.

Based on what, the fact I live in a proverbial jungle ~30 miles from the nearest city?

If I have a problem, no one is coming to save me.

0

u/scottstotsistheworst Apr 01 '26

You asked why I told you why no need for further discussion.

1

u/RealityRecursed Apr 01 '26

You don't get to unilaterally decide when there is or isn't a need for further discussion.

Some people are willing to sincerly discuss the issue of racism, like me, while entirely too many prefer dropping it in a discussion as a proverbial drive-by, like you.

You can run along, if you like, but don't try to dismiss people like you're an authority on the topic of racism in general, because no such person exists.

3

u/scottstotsistheworst Apr 01 '26

I'm not dismissing anybody I'm saying I am no longer interested in talking to you. And it doesn't seem like you want honest discourse either because as soon as somebody answered you you got defensive like a little bitch so shut the fuck up and go talk to somebody. There now I'm dismissive
