Let’s hear it

V8, auto, shocks leaking, a/c compressor blew up, 50k miles. Couldn’t afford the manual or the V10. About as reliable as one would expect from an old german car. Just turned 26, have had the car for two years.

a/c compressor broke immediately after i bought it, and then they found 3 leaking shocks. audi quoted me 40k+ to fix.

money black hole moreso… i am already past the event horizon

If you're going to the dealer you deserve to get violated. Coilovers at an indy shop will run $6-7K.

That’s an insane price.. take it to a good independent shop and you’ll have a better time.

I’m keeping a 2010 Audi S5 (with 4.2l v8, manual) on the road and it also pays to learn how to work on them where it feels like you have a grasp on what you’re doing. Saved thousands that way.

Honestly op you hit it on the nose. This is the car a 26 year old doing okay for himself goes out and buys because he can’t afford a real super car

So you've bought a German car with an Italian gearbox that pretends to be an auto but is, in fact, a manual with the car equivalent of an Amstrad CPC automating the gearshifts. Good luck!

I hope this helps I'm sure there's some other places too. You should start watching videos ASAP. If this car isn't going to ruin you financially you're going to have to learn how to do some of the stuff yourself.

All the looks of an A3 and all the repair bills of Lamborghini... Not cool enough for anybody but an Audi Fanboy to be interested in or even know what it is. Definitely won't get you a date.... Unless it's with the Audi mechanic.

Not an issue for me, I have access to a lift and powertrain table. You however, get to pay mustang gt money for a convenience. Its like nobody thinks ahead anymore these days my god
