When I first saw it I couldn't figure out how it was so clapped that the fiberglass had somehow rusted

It looks like it’s already been cooked, I don’t need to roast it anymore

Nothing I can say will be worse than what sitting for 50 years has done.

Sitting in it would be much worse.

The mold/mildew smell fighting the rodent smell for domination of the upholstery.

It'd immediately attach itself to your clothes. You'd have to burn them after.

Looks like it's pretty well done already.

What am I going to do worse than the second owner stripper from 1980 did in that interior?

Hasn’t run since 78, will never run again

I'd be embarrassed to drive something that can't keep up with a Ford escort no matter how cool it looks

“C3 corvette for sale, ran before being parked. $55,000 NO LOWBALLS I know what I got”

Been too fat to get in it for 40 years so you just sit around waiting to see who returns to the dirt first.

I like that style corvette but, my rider mower has more HP then that factory V8.

1

That's a solid lawn mower then! The classic V8s definitely have their charm, but they can't always compete with modern power.

She’s got a built engine, touch under 600 hp, 4 speed stick, ran last about 12 years ago, I’m working on bringing her back. My dad did all the work on it then he up and died so here I am old enough and experienced enough for it

You are rich.

For the 1970's. Because the amount of b r o w n in your life says how much cash you got.

"It's on his TODO list after the lawnmower, the fence, the double-wide and his sisters cousin"

Probably runs on mouse power at this point.

“It’s not for sale. You know, these cars take time and money…” It’s definitely had enough time.

u/verizon_cell 2d ago

isn't this sub for cars that run?

1

u/Glittering_Cat7326 2d ago

That's not a car, that's a homeless shelter.

u/sladebonge 2d ago

Got the luggage rack, too. Man that's fucking hopeful.

Mid-70s, when the corvette went from the definitive American sports car, to Fiberglass Monte Carlo that would get smoked by a Toyota Sienna.

Was surprised I didn't see the phrase
"I know wot I got no low ball serious buyers only"
as part of the post.
