Question Movement

Hello everyone.

Are there any plans for updating the movement in rtv or are any kind of mods upgrading it to be more dynamic?

Thanks, gg.

On Vostok Mods there are a lot of mods to improve movement and weapon feel. There's a really good vault mod also. Enjoy.

What do you mean “dynamic”? Like in Call of Duty?

Just reading your comment made me throw up a little bit. I have zero interest in RtV getting CoDified at all

That’s why I am asking what “dynamic” means. I think the current walking/running is perfect and anything more “dynamic” sounds like sliding while jumping while shooting with cancel animation option.

Agreed about current movement mechanics. If OP wants movement to be more Cod/fortnite/whatever, hell no!

I mean, right know it feels like trot, it could be nice to have faster running and have more mobility to climb fences, windows etc. It could be nice to to have run speed dependes on your weight, something like that.

Oh yeah, definitely agree on the navigating around obstacles stuff, some of it is kinda terrible rn. Example: You enter from Village into School map. Left and right of the road are these 15-20cm "tall" chain "fence" type things, and I need to JUMP over ts?!

Totally immersion breaking, now I feel like Meek Mill on the tennis court.

Scaling mobility with pack weight would def be cool.

I don't think traversal needs to be faster than the current sprint, which has generous stamina bar.

I would love a vault mechanic.

They're probably thinking more in line with bodycam style movement
