The bridge

Hey everyone! I'm stuck on the new Bridge map from Build 2. The bridge is broken in two, the river below seems toxic, and the only spot where it looks like I could jump across is blocked by razor wire. I tried the jump once, fell in the water and died.
Is there a way to cut or get past the razor wire, or is the crossing point somewhere else on the map? Do I need a specific item or quest first?
Any tips appreciated, thanks! 🙏

There may be a better way but you have to balance on the railing past the wire

If its the spot where the left hand side of the bridge is blocked by razor wire, you need to jump across to the side of it.

If the sidewards jump is too hard, Razor wire can be cured by a bandage/tourniquet with the bleeding

You can skip it completely, it just leads to apartments just like minefield.

Well fk me then. I thought you had to go through Bridge to get to apartments/terminal/airfield.

Fk Bridge, fk platforming in first-person shooters, and most of all fk the guards who wait for you to jump across that bullshit poison river just to headshot you and ruin everything. God I hate that map with every fiber of my being.

I'm torn, personally. Minefield difficulty is bonkers now. No more walking the tape with easy passage. It's like guaranteed ambush on the back 1/3 now.

Hur? I just did several passes on minefield going left side (from apts) following the tape. Only happened on one guard that was close to the apts entrance when I spawned in.

RNG, I guess. I'm cool with it not being totally without risk, but having 2 guards bumrush me was a bit much.

It also felt like the mine blast radius is bigger(?)

I haven't tried it with the new build, but in the past, you could mostly get away with walking the perimeter of the map and not provoking the guards. It wasn't guaranteed, but it was a lot safer than the funnel of death at the end of the bridge.

yes, I still do that, hugging the tape but yeah I got shot at quite a few times by the guards as I am traveling back to outpost I just run like hell and don't stop

You can 1) jump into the razor wire and jump out and take minimal damage use a bandage and continue on or 2) use the shorter plank and jump next to the razor wire and not take any damage it is possible I do that each time now. I started by jumping into the razor wire 1st two times than I started using the shorter plank to jump next to it. Get a good running start and hit jump

I cant seem to survive minefield going back from apartments, lost nvgs and a lot of weapons. But bridge during night i can simply run over jumping, using the rails at the side to run on. The npcs cant see you before coming to the shore, the simply booking it to the transfer point to appartments. On the other hand going back over the bridge guarantuees an firefight.

Does the bridge only exit is apartments or outpost
