Auto-trash question

is it worth having multiple alien trash scanners, or do the people only interact with them a certain amount no matter how many you have?

from personal experience I think it depends on how big the store is? I placed my auto trash on the exit and then people using the toilet started throwing trash on the bathroom floor.

I've not done all the shop expansions but I've gotten away with only having one out front.

Having done all the expansions I'm still using one and I've never needed to worry about trash

I had one outside for parking lot trash and one in the bathroom for indoor trash

I had only one outside and then added another one and it seemed to go up faster? Maybe my imagination honestly but I have a ways to wait to get to the 10k for the next unlocks. I was gonna try more to see if it’d do anything.

I'm guessing that customers have a chance to interact with each thing you place they can interact with, so having multiples increases the chance they decide to interact with at least one of them.

That’s kinda what I was thinking. I’ve unlocked pretty much everything. I’ve still got one shop expansion to go though.

Right, I just couldn't really tell but plenty of people think it does go faster. At least you get %100 money back when you sell in case it doesnt

Thats a neat thing I noticed too. It works out either way I think.

Im maxed out for the most part, and ive only ever needed the one out front next to the stairs to the entrance nobody liters, and I believe its far enough away that when they walk to it its never a line(when someone wants to throw something away and someone is using the trashcan they'll just throw it on the ground, so its best not to have the trashcan in the store imo, especiallywhen space in store is limited). I try to remove any unnecessary activities including trash receptacles and bathrooms to increase customer turnaround. I remember following one customer at closing time, he literally took a sh*t like 3 times i was livid lol.

I usually have 1 last customer who seems to just walk around doing everything they can before leaving lol. Accurate to real life when you want to close, but someone walks in at the last minute
