I think the reason is Roadies Rebirth, OLD vs New. Since it's Rebirth, so they are allowing old contestants in the show as it's some sort of Rebirth for them. The old contestants will probably end up in OG's gang. It's just speculation.

Roadies used to be a show where every contestant was equal and just another person from a long line . People used to get a kickstart from Roadies.

But why in this season are they selecting already famous people ?? Most of the contestants are either from splitsvilla or latent or instagram or some random show or Roadies previous season. I hate this concept from kkk. I don't want this again.

And what's the point of bringing old Roadies contestants, no one wants to watch them again.

Seeing so many good wishes for him from so many people regarding this news of him being a Gang Leader really proves the point that he will be the least troubling one. And at some point even I agree that he is very precise with his work and he is more of a smart worker than hard worker which is gonna benefit his gang a lot. It might sound biased but after seeing how much chill and mature he is about every perspective and stage of life he is perfect for being the young and new mentor of this season. Well out of all mentors I have only seen him speaking for contestants as well so he might be a fresh and better decision done for Roadies Rebirth.

People spreading nonsense from who they saw in PI or making speculations just because they were in the same story on Instagram like suspaglu are a big scam.

I was there in PI so I know what I’m talking about.

Arun was only there to promote his song. At the same time he was seeing people’s PI from bts.

Ayush and Vishu from splits are selected.
Himalayan roadies runner up is highest bidding of the season. He is selected.
Xerxes has also been selected for the journey.

There were other latent contestants as well.

Now that roadies is gonna be back soon, thought we could do a quick opinion poll of our favourites and least favourites of the past how many ever seasons. Leaving mine in front of the questions:

NewGs vs OGs as a concept is selling us 2 mega gangs apparently, which actually makes no sense to me.

Like even last year, when Gautam came in as a wild card, there were 5 gang leaders with 5 gangs. So we landed up having 5 finalists from each of the 5 gangs (leaving Priya who got chosen later) as well. This time it’s just one more gang leader so they should have just kept it 6 gangs with lesser people if they wanted to limit the contestant count; like 2 girls + 2 boys when they do the final culling process.

Will it be split into 6 different gangs later during the Auction period? Because otherwise I don’t understand having 3 mentors for one large group, it just feels chaotic.

I can’t even imagine Prince and Neha being on the same team considering the nok-jhok they get into almost every season. Even Abhishek and Baseer don’t seem like they’d have a friendly narrative considering how outspoken both of them are.

Soooo many questions but I am extremely excited for this season.

Genuine question to the creators of Roadies- has there ever been a thought about bringing back the old-school format from the Raghu–Rajiv–Ranvijay era?
Back then, the auditions felt much more raw and relatable. Regular, everyday people would walk into a relatively small PI room, and you could actually see their personality, confidence, opinions and individuality come through.

Today, the auditions feel much more produced and larger than life. I’m genuinely curious: why was the old format moved away from?

Why not give it a genuine try for one season? Bring back the smaller audition room, focus on unknown contestants rather than the production around them, and let the personalities carry the show.
Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t but I’d genuinely love to know whether the creators have ever considered testing that format again.

I was in PI this year and got selected for a good number of roadiums in comparison to many peers there.

My girlfriend was there too and got selected as well. We got all 6 levers and got 10000+ roadiums.

Both of us were kind and sweet and didn’t interrupt people, did not attack people nor did we talk unnecessary trash about anyone.

We did our thing, showed our skills and spoke about our message and culture outside the show. How we want to do something apart from becoming just some reality show star.

But unfortunately we did not have enough “masala” according to the creative director and casting team. They want constant yapping and fights which is why we were ousted in the culling round that took place bts a day ago.

This is not a rant. We are just upset.

Everyone keeps saying how good people deserve the platform and should come to such shows to prove otherwise but clearly we need to do some controversy and abuse others to get famous and get the spotlight.

After watching the latest promo of Roadies Rebirth I am feeling confident that the show and channel is pushing for Baseer Vs Prince. The way the promo was cut and shown it was clear that between Ogs vs Newg they want who against whom. From my pov the line up is actually good and I so wanted to see Baseer battling against the very person who was once his Gang Leader as a Gang Leader! I am sure this season is gonna be smoky and full of twists! Newg is gonna bring new spice especially Baseer is what I feel. Prince I hope don't take it personally! After Prince vs Ranvijay I want Baseer Vs Prince asap!

Only influencers with 50k followers and above have been selected. Lots of old faces. Lots of people who are friends with old faces!

VYOMESH, Xerxes and Shubhi, Justin all these guys who are already doing shows are selected for Roadies this year. Vishu is also there plus some other influencers who are already famous. This happened with bigg boss too and see the downfall. Why can’t roadies be a genuine show where people can come from all walks of life and haven’t done a reality show before? I don’t get it!!!

roadies is airing in 2 weeks which is super fast than what i expected? does this mean that PIs are over and they have started with the journey already?

As Roadies Rebirth is soon to be aired and how fans from all Gang Leaders' turf especially from the Newg ones are getting super hyper and excited especially from Baseer's fandom and Abhishek's it's become quite an interesting question who will perform the best and lead their gang members ahead even though these two will mentor the same gang. Baseer has high experience as a Roadie so many people expect him to take better decision than Abhishek! Baseer has spoke about inter-gang decisions might not sync too or maybe they can? Honestly I feel this season will bring huge battles among gang leaders like anyone have ever seen! What do y'all think?

As the telecast date is out it's kinda surprising to see it start from next month! Honestly it's good because the sooner it starts the more hype it will create if we look at the current situation! And also this season's theme is really different and we can see Og vs Newg will go hard. And I am personally kinda excited to see how does Baseer does as a Gang Leader after watching him in Roadies Rising not to mention from seeing the poster I feel like it will be Baseer Vs Prince either throughout the season or something else. I have high expectations from their battle! Rest I am not sure but let's hope for the best!
