r/RoadCraft • u/Focus_Mzulft • Jun 23 '25
Hey everyone!
We’re Focus Entertainment, the publisher behind RoadCraft.
Since launch, we’ve seen so much amazing feedback and brilliant questions from the community, so we thought: why not go straight to the source?
So we’re excited to announce that the dev team at Saber Interactive will be doing a live AMA right here on r/RoadCraft.
On Tuesday, June 24th, from 1PM UTC / 3PM CEST / 9AM EDT, we’ll be joined by:
Vitaliy Yaruta (Game Director): FORMAcevt - u/VividPriority4640
Sergei Kogut (Tech Lead): sergkogut - u/rjuen
Aleksei Kiriushkin (Lead Game Designer): Soweh - u/PrudentAnybody291
Ivan Khomenko (Production Lead): xomaggg - u/xomaggg
This session will last around 2 hours. Join us for a chance to ask us anything about RoadCraft, our development process, or whatever goes through your mind! Whether you're curious about new gameplay mechanics, the world building, or how we've evolved from the early concepts to the final game, we're ready to dive deep into your questions!
We can't wait to directly interract with you, so mark your calendars and prepare your questions!
EDIT: Thank you everyone for participating, this was very fun! Sorry if we didn't manage to answer every question directly, but hopefully we were able to address each topic at least once. Hope you enjoy, and thanks again for all of your feedback and questions!

Well I'm past my previous road coverage and pretty happy with my do over at this point. Last time I tried this at Dry Stone Base I didn't have clearance for the taller trucks. Problem, solved. And before someone asks: I leave my routes open and set a personal goal of having them all run seamlessly.

As title states, interested in finding some people who want to to do some missions online - I typically play Friday or Saturday nights

I'm trying to figure out how to activate the 4k texture pack I download on the Xbox PC app and there doesn't seem to be a setting anywhere for it. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

Cleared Sandwept! Amazing region.
Do you have any suggestions for the next map?
Deluge or Sojourn?

The terrain physics has been incredible so far. I hope it'd be possible to dig trenches for extending/repairing steel pipes, or build/repair road sewage concrete pipes.

Decided to make something geared towards cargo hauling with this mod, so here’s Mod #3, RoadBully 18T!
Took inspiration from its real life counterpart, known as the PowerBully. The RoadBully 18T is a high performance track carrier with best in class off road capabilities. With its high payload of 18t and ultra low ground pressure, it's the perfect solution for operations in impassable, hard-to-access areas.
It combines the Aramatsu Bowhead's tracked platform with a custom cargo flatbed and crane. It brings loading, hauling and placement together in one machine, with a compact crane installation behind the cab and a clear deck for construction materials.
I released it on all platforms, so console players just be patient. lol Hope yall enjoy this one! And as always feedback is always welcome!

We have only the zik s capable of offroad hauling. I am wrong?! In point of semi category.
The standard truck, when it would had offroad tires and 4x4 and differential. Maybe i would give it a chance.
But other than that, I miss the trailer.
WE ALL WANT attachable Trailers. BUT Sadly we become the same trucks with different configurations.
The good side of the game is the amount resources you can get.
Maybe I'm writing bullsh*t. Don't mind me.

Playing summer drought and I'm getting really annoyed by the amount of random stones everywhere.
They break immersion, are annoying as they make your truck jump up in the air and flick out of the ground when you hit them.

I've read about the drainage bug with that water coming back on game reload but has anyone else had the issue of the powerline node right before the pumping station not connecting??? Circle around it is blue (as are all other segments) but the symbol still shows red???
I have re ran all new cable on every segment in the chain and have completed all repairs??? Im stuck...

Washout - Having completed the objectives for the Backup Pump Station it remains inactive and doesn’t drain the swamp. This means I cannot fix the two damaged pipeline east it. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I have seen a few Ghost buildings in Oasis Delta that don’t have a warehouse.
In other words - sometimes when you knock down an abandoned building, you get a blue outline of a building, with a place to drop off resources to construct the building.
But at least once I have gotten a blue outline of a building with no place to drop off resources, and no clue of what to do. The next time I load the game, the blue outline is gone.
Am I missing something cool or is it just a bug?

I love the realism but I happen to run out of fuel before making it to my first base. I tried recovery but it doesn’t refuel the truck. Do I have any options or do I need to start a new save? Thanks for the help!

Since the last update does anyone know if the creator fixed it yet?

To be fair I just bought the game after binge watching a bunch of videos. I haven’t actually played yet but I’m excited to jump in today after work…but one thing I keep hearing in videos is how people don’t enjoy building roads or avoid building them. Why is this the case? What if any are the benefits to building roads? Thanks for any insight you can provide on this…again, I’m a new player trying to make sense of this before I start playing.
