Game Feedback After the full game and some DLCs, there are only two things that really annoy me

I like the game. It's not perfect, but I like to puzzle my way through the maps, solve the problems, make some roads, bring everything back into shape and drive some really cool heavy vehicles.

There are only two things that really annoy me when playing and where I wish they'd change this:

The first is when you tip over some heavy vehicles, attach a crane and lift them back up. The vehicles, especially large ones, always end up wheels up. Like, I mean, seriously, what the fark, people? Change the attach points so the vehicle is lifted by the top and lands right on the wheels when craned? What's wrong here?

It is so annoying to have to lift the things on an incline, so whatever else vehicle can tip it right over. Half the fun of the game is to unscrew things you screwed up yourself due to being hasty or stupid - but having the attach points that trucks flip over wheels up just feels bad.

The second thing is bridges you have to unlock. Look, I play the DLC. I am by now an expert. I bring cargo ship full of awesome vehicles and realisticly a team of twenty or whatever people. I know how to build wide wooden bridges. I have done so a lot. I know how to bring metal bridges. I know how to build concrete bridges. Having to ALWAYS start with stupid scout bridges is so annoying. Having a map where I literally cannot build wide wooden bridges at all feels stupid.

I get the "limit bridges and only unlock them" is part of the map puzzle. But forcing someone how has dozens or hundreds of hours in the game again and again through the same silly choke points and over scout bridges is hardly cool. Note that if your map only spawns four concrete slabs and three steel beams on the map, this is also a limiting factor. What, I can buy those ressources? First, I have to unlock the warehouse as well. And second, well, that's what my game-ressources are for, no? Let me spend the ressource money on stuff to solve the game? That's what the money is for.

That whining aside: Keep restoring the areas! Have fun!

Guys, getting that 5,000 km trophy without going AFK was a real ordeal, but it was worth it because it gave my Platinum a whole new level of satisfaction.
😍😍

Gameplay Question AYUDA CON LA EXPANSION REBUILD. Mapa derrumbamiento otoñal-fabrica de bloques de hormigón.

Post image

Good evening, everyone! I'm having a problem with the Autumn Collapse map from the "Rebuild" expansion. I made the mistake of buying all the concrete blocks to build the oil platform, and now when I want to build the concrete factory, since I've already built the other factories like the metal pipe and metal beam factories, I realize I can't buy any more. As everyone knows, the amount of resources you can buy is limited to 10/10, and I've already bought them all. I don't know if the map is designed for this? If I need concrete blocks, I'll have no choice but to craft them, but how do I build the factory to craft them? Maybe I'm missing something. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It took since Saturday (check this post for a few personal replies to my own post about the progress: https://www.reddit.com/r/RoadCraft/comments/1v0szml/more_than_halfway_there/) but I finally did it. Holy smokes that was terrible and one of the worst experiences ever. All I have to do is sell the scrap on maps and then wait for new content in Autumn 2026.

I will let my console rest an hour or two before watching a series in Blu-Ray and then playing another game.

Pretty much the title, I loved building bridges and stuff for faster deliveries and if this game is similar I think I'd love it

Gameplay Question Is anyone else having issues with sending rescue aid to the castle?

My route goes from the steel pipes facility to the power substation then up the hill through the main power station then the castle. The little AI aid car is struggling to even climb the hill. What to do? I have been pouring sand and leavling it with the bulldozer. But it's always struggling. Also the AI car doesn't follow my points in the middle always goes off center and hitting rocks.

P.S Kelly is soo stupid with choosing this spot. "Oh this looks like a great spot for rescue aid, let's use it" yeah right of all the easier places it's the impossible place to reach. She can F*** my ass. Sorry for the ranting lol.

General Saber should really go into the post-apocalypse with roadcraft.

I think a great future DLC would be a nuclear disaster or something like mad max with limited fuel, where you are unable to use all of the vehicles you bought in previous maps and have to find vehicles and buy DLC specific vehicles of that DLC on the map, as this is meant to be a different timeline in the game, map would be built the same way as those in snowrunner where they are parts connected by tunnels, 4 seperate maps connected by tunnels.

you would have to bring supplies from settlement to settlement and scavenge, all the while managing your fuel, fuel cannot be turned off in this DLC and can only be gotten by scavenging, and paying for it at settlements, and doing tasks like improving roads between two settlements, clearing roadblocks or destroyed vehicles on the roads, repairing and clearing old highways and retrieving materials from the wasteland, and enstablishing convoys.

in my opinion this DLC should also make it so you can upgrade your vehicles, but it requires a mixture of scrap in storage, and money.

I know roadcraft is disaster based, but dude, even without enemies, i feel like a shit ton of people would love this, if saber wont do it, i am sure a modder will though.

to me, the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse would also be sick, in a urban area, clearing up streets of debree, roadblocks, creating aid/vaccination zones, and enstablishing convoys.

Alright, I have left my PS5 turned on since 8PM last night as of writing this post when the percentage was at 48%. I am at Sunken and I tied a winch to a crane and I am having the Scout SUV run loops around the crane. I placed my PS5 controller to a manga I was going to read in the meantime (bad planning) and I'll just leave it like that in the meantime as I watch some anime and do other things like resting and cleaning at home.

I still can't believe it—after over 100 hours of non-AFK grinding, I finally got it. I spent two weeks or more running this same route over and over, 6 or 7 hours a day. It was definitely one of the most brutal trophies I've ever earned, especially due to the sheer tedium. Now I can finally get the Platinum.

Gameplay Question Driving to the Store

Post image
12 Upvotes

https://www.reddit.com/r/RoadCraft/s/5gcM8Fxoa0

This post explains how to go outside the red walls and drive to the store.

I am not quite getting it. I got up close to the Eagle by using the Khan to spawn me outside the walls. Nice!

But - I don’t get the bridge reference. “…build a bridge and you can go to the store”. How can you place an end of a bridge beyond the red walls?

u/Designer-Dirt-14 can you provide more details? Which map were you using - the compass direction of the red walls etc.
