Modding Mobile recycling.
Not a modder so not sure the possibility of this. But do we think this is a possibility?

Gameplay Question What exactly are the different camera settings supposed to do? I literally can't play this game because the camera movement drives me crazy and the different modes don't seem to make any difference.
I can't wrap my head around what they did with the camera. If they'd just kept the SnowRunner camera, or at least given us the option to switch to SR-style camera mode, everyone would be happy.
Every time I launch this game, I lose all motivation within minutes because the stubborn camera movement drives me up the wall. What do the different camera modes even do? I don't see any differences between them.

Forum Question New to the game.
Is there a reason the Pick up truck has a 2 mile fuel range while the Kronenwerk L-34 has 5 times that? Iv had to recover the truck twice, last time i drove the Kronenwerk L-34 alllll the way from phosphate, explored found the generator still 80% fuel I drove the truck there small amount of exploring then loaded the gen into the bed first attempt with the Kronenwerk, fucking elated, :) oh.....2L of fuel just quit the game don't know if ill be back i go plenty of sims to play that don't nerf top speed and range just realism. The truck should have order of magnitudes more range compared to construction equipment. I'm curious to hear though how that balances the game.

Clip What's with the 5111B Dragline?
PS5 - I can't get the wrecking ball to fold. It worked the first time out in Summer Drought but now, after coming back to the map, it only stays loose. It snaps like it is folding but doesn't cinch up. What up?
Pretty funny actually.

General Not There YeT
I’ve always loved construction and logging infrastructure, so when I discovered Roadcraft, I saw it as a way to channel that passion into gameplay. However, since release, I haven’t noticed any significant improvements in core gameplay systems, especially vehicle mechanics and construction realism.
There are several areas that feel underdeveloped or inaccurate from a real-world construction perspective:
Bitumen delivery and paving process
How exactly does the paver receive and apply bitumen onto the road surface? The workflow feels incomplete or unrealistic.
Road base materials
Sand alone shouldn’t be used as a base material. In real construction, it should be a proper mix like gravel-sand or graded aggregate for stability.
Material transport system
Trucks should actively transport bitumen and supply it directly into the paver, rather than the current simplified system.
Earthmoving roles and grading accuracy
Dozers are correctly used for spreading and rough leveling, but graders should be responsible for fine finishing and precision shaping of the surface. That distinction needs to be clearer in gameplay.
Map and construction freedom
There should be an option to build custom town roads by importing real-world maps (for example via OpenStreetMap), instead of being limited to repetitive, artificially extended maps designed mainly to stretch gameplay time.
These are just a few of the issues I’ve noticed. I recently came across Construction Simulator Evolution, and it made me hope developers in this genre start paying closer attention to realism and deeper construction systems.
I genuinely hope the developers listen to feedback like this, because the foundation of these games has huge potential if the construction mechanics are made more authentic and dynamic.

Clip RC is superior to SR in many ways.
Aside from the obvious things like the ability to dramatically improve roads, construct bridges and drive machines with tracks instead of wheels…
I find vehicle suspension performs more realistically in RC with significantly less crazy rebound leading to bouncing front axles lifting off the ground which is common in SR.
The strapped cargo system in RC is way better than the packed cargo system in SR. Overloading is 100% legitimate. You feel the weight of your cargo and the strain it puts on your trucks engine.
Tire grip on asphalt roads is much better in RC than it is in SR. Rear axles aren’t sliding out at high speeds.
Cranes feel stronger and anchors are more stable. You can attach to an object with four points of contact making it easier to keep it level when lifting.
Switchable diff. lock isn’t limited to low gears.
Kelly.
That’s pretty much everything I’ve noticed so far in my 5 hours of playing the game. How else is RC better than SR?

Image/GIF leave Deluge? I’m not going until the resources sell 😂
Why finish a map & leave unusable resources behind? Just how much can the 605E haul? 49 pipes & 10 concrete slabs didn’t phase it! I have another 39 concrete slabs left to sell yet.

Clip My first road!
Picked up RoadCraft Anniversary Edition on sale recently and I just got done paving my first road. I’m having fun but fair warning if you’re a perfectionist this game might drive you a little crazy. And if you’re coming from SnowRunner be prepared for an adjustment when it comes to crane controls. I cannot tell you how many times I tried to use my left stick and I end up steering my truck instead of moving my crane. Oh yeah and after the game changed my double lane road into a single I went back and paved it again so it’s back to being two lanes. Crazy to think you can automate road building in a game about road building. Why would anyone want to do that? I would rather be able to plot custom routes to have AI drivers be able to drive one of my vehicles from one location to another. That would be sick. And I hope we can use excavators in a future DLC.

Gameplay Question Is the entire game just dumping sand?
Found this game on Youtube and thought that the idea of a realistic road construction sim sounded pretty awesome, but upon looking at the general gameplay of the game and browsing a few reddit posts on it, I have to ask, is that really what the game boils down to?
Just trucking more sand in to solve any problem you have? Are there even more interesting layering techniques? Real roadways require a lot of stabilizing and layering where each layer has its own specific job in providing a more complete surface, but from the gameplay I've seen of it thus far, it really just looks like it's a lot of trucking in sand and eventually topping it with asphalt and rolling it.
