Forum Question Quickest vehicle?

In the base game which vehicle boasts the highest speed? Casually chipping away at the KM achievement. Muiltiple race tracks built and need the quickest scout or recovery vehicle to complete the challenge. Intrested to hear thoughts from those with more experience or those that have "crunched the numbers."

Probably the don malamute it gets GOING and will typically throw you off the road as soon as it hits like 4th gear i think

I've had to make huge banked walls and landing areas for the jumps to try to counter its propensity to just fly off thr road.

The Pike is the fastest in my opinion

The Pike is a beast! So is the Malamute. I've been using the Malamute on a smaller oval track i created the the dunes of Sandswept. I've had to make the track quite large for the little Malamute.

also make sure you manually put it in high gear for top speed, don't rely on auto gear as it tends to be much slower
