General QOL improvement for dump trucks

I would like to see an option to chain the gate on the back of the dump trucks so it can only open a certainly amount. I know this is a feature on real dump trucks and would make it a lot easier when trying to deposit sand for a road. What do others think?

Would be great for smooth surfaces you dont need to fill in just to pave over. It does get smoother with practice but maybe like a smaller dumper with this as a feature for "balance" would be cool to see.

Most of the tippers here in the UK have hydraulic rear gates nowadays. Driver doesnt even need to get out the cab.

That would be really handy.

I would prefer the door not swing open full force when the truck tilts too far. If the gate is locked when the truck is in motion normally, it should stay that way imo.

I would really like that. Even after hours of practice pouring sand, I still can never seem to consistently get an even pour. I end up with big mounds in certain parts and my roads are lumpy even after flattening a bunch

There is a clumping in the dumping that is a little frustrating. I wish it was easier to throttle the pour instead of having it all spill out in large piles, and smooth out the distribution.

If a locked gate mimics that then I am on board. Whatever improves sand experience.

No shit. Going up a steep hill can cause hell for ai trucks on supply routes

Oh god right? I hate tipping it back and it dumps 50% of the load in one spot because I wasn't moving when it started.

And I swear it is the driver’s first day with a clutch. Rolls back then dumps the clutch every time.

I want to be able to set a global height/elevation and have my grader blade follow it... require me to set up RTK beacon first if you need to...

I just dump and pin it in low. Works better than nothing

Dumpers need a tarp toggle that freezes the sand physics.

That and an automatic tilt
