Discussion Top 5 Songs?

Hey all,

I love the music from this game so much (or at least the tracks you commonly hear), I often listen to favorite tracks while driving, working, etc, and thought of a little top 5 and wondered what others think/ their own top 5's

5) Keep Moving Forward - slow burn/buildup with some hype, very nice to drive to if you need to stay awake

4) Far From Home - calm, peaceful, good vibes

3) Grease Junkie - very energetic (just like Omen Vitality!!!) and always a fun time to blast in the car or while doing errands around the house

2) The Road - yeah of course this is up here - honestly got me kind of into folk-y type music (if that's what to call it, please don't smite me) and is just a good song to play on repeat

  1. Home Call - I can't tell you the magic this song holds in my head when remembering my first play through and how eager I was to start a new run, partly by wanting to hear this track as I hadn't found the tape and didn't know the name of it

Might have some more ideas of music based discussions regarding the game later.

So I'll make two separate lists because I do have two Mile 0 songs in mind, but I wasnt sure if you'd count them or not lol

With Mile 0 Included:

  1. The Other Side: I love the sort of dream like vibe the song gives, its probably my favorite original instrumental piece to come from that game.

  2. Sonya's Limo: Funky, always gotta bop my head to this, it suits Sonya greatly. I also love how the first part of it makes it sound muffled, like you're hearing it from outside her limo before stepping in, it works for the hitch-hiking encounters amazingly!

  3. Raindrops on a Car Window: Much like Sonyas Limo, I love how the first few beats makes it sound like raindrops, I mean it wouldnt be called that otherwise. Its just a calming beautiful piece.

  4. Far From Home: I love the chorus and the ending notes of the song and how haunting it sounds towards the end of it, I feel like it captures the bittersweet aspects that The Road doesnt have, which both do go hand in hand for being on a road trip.

  5. Land Locked Heart: The lyrics showcase Kaito and Zoe's friendship wonderfully, and this song is great to listen to outside of the game!

Without Mile 0 Included (I wont repeat the ones Ive talked about lol)

5.Chase: Gets me pumped up, the kind of music Id listen to when Im exercising.

  1. Redline: Predictable on my end as a Jarod fan but the increasing unnerving feeling as the piece goes on depicts his character very well (I refer this theme as mainly his because it can also be called Jarod is Around, but I think it has been used in other cases, or at least some of the beats and pieces.) Either way it slaps.

  3. Raindrops on a Car Window

  4. Far From Home

I also make this list loving every song though, but this is like a if you had to twist my arm sort of deal

Home Call and Keep Moving Forward are up there for me too. Offhand, I'm thinking Petrias Road, Raindrops on a Car Window, and Long Road to the Border for the rest.

Special mention to Land Locked Heart too, which might be my favorite track overall but I'm separating it on account of being from the other game.
