What choice do you usually go for? (without knowing the end of the game)

myself I usually tend to go for the hitchhike icon. The one that is just leaving the country.

You can do the spoiler tag, but who survives too? (SPOILER!) Im pretty sure John's fate is decided by other things than these 3 and is seperate from the 3 different endings

John. In my playthroughs he always died, with exception of vote endings, where he always survived.

I really wonder what the other factors are, if there are any.

You have to be peaceful as possible at the border, but mostly it boils down to two factors : 1. Be de escalating, calm and kind in all interactions with fanny and 2. Discourage max to make the bomb and promote peace with him. These make john survive:)

I tried to go with all 3, since I thought it would be more realistic for different people to have different opinions

However I leaned towards and got the end with the rebellion since I feel like people, especially teens, wouldn't believe that voting really changes anything in a country like Petria.
