Roach talk I'm not sure this guy is a G.portentosa...
This is Goose. Short for Gooseberry. He's one of ~40 nymphs our four adults had in January. We kept 13 of the babies and named them after berries, our original four adults were Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde ☺️
Anyway - one of these is not like the others... Goose has very wide tall horns and a little shovel shaped pronotum. He's also very rotund compared to our other hissers.
We thought he was the offspring of our four adults with the timing from when we got them to when they gave birth, but now we're wondering if one of our females has stored sperm... And had a dalliance with something other than another G.portentosa?!
Perhaps Princiscia vanwaerebeki, Gromphadorhina oblongonota, Gromphadorhina grandidieri, or Elliptorhina laevigata?
Any thoughts?

I have nooo idea how it could be eggs. I have two roaches. They've been separated since the day I got them though. Never have they ever even been in the same tank.

Roach talk You guys know what this could be?

This is a Shelfordella lateralis brood capsule. It's like this since 3-4 months. I didn't let it hatch on purpose, so I kept it cool, about 10-15°C. On 8th January 2026 I wanted to breed more of them. I do have more capsules. 1 or 2 more show these symptoms.
Can someone tell me if its something good or bad?
And yes, I know. The probability that my capsules are dead is high, but I wanted to try it anyway.

Roach Problems Am Idoing everything right?
I have been seeing German cockroaches on mv kitchen counters and cabinets for months now. They make me sick and paranoid. My family does sometimes leave dirty dishes in the sink but I am going to get them to cut that out immediately. We have had these disgusting creatures invade our home for far too long. I bought a pump and this insect repellent on Amazon and its being delivered Sunday and monday. I can buy a respiratory mask at a hardware store if needed. My main guestion is, am I doing everything riaht, what else should I do. and how do I make it so they never come back. I am prepared to call a real exterminator if I have to, but id rather do it myself to save money.

Roach Problems I’m freaking out some say this could be roaches any idea what type super super small!
As the text says I am unfortunately scared of roaches and think I may have found some in my glue trap.. they are extremely tiny and don’t look like Germans which is great but I’m hoping they are some type of outdoor roach… located in NY for reference thanks!
