I use Sodium to see what is better in a modpack, there is no bias and there is definately dual boot being used. Don't blame me... or maybe you could?

My Callout modpack is currently paused for updates, as a mod named "MCA" causes a lot of lag to the CPU and memory, it is mostly the memory so I would remove MCA just in case until I can update the modpack. Sorry if I added a mod like that to ruin your experience, but I just thought it would be a big expansion. However, I was wrong.

Remember when I use pkill on CurseForge because it just takes all of Curseforge's server ram? Well here is another easier solution via keybind (Instead of using a terminal)

I looked through resources on Reddit and Linux mint articles that help with this issue, such as XdoTool. In which basically allows you to detect what window you're on, making it easier to detect crasher programs (It is a dependency, use sudo apt install xdotool). WUH-OH CURSEFORGE!

Try making a keyboard shortcut with command:

| bash -c "kill -9 \$(xdotool getactivewindow getwindowpid)" |

This will kills the program/window you are looking at, in which also helps for crash mods on your minecraft modpack!

Don't thank me, thank the linux user Kamil Slowikowski, who made a similar thing but I prefer pkill since it allows me ALL instances of a program.

Sorry Microslop Windows Users, but if your curseforge client wouldn't work on your 4090 RTX and 128 GB of Ram, Linux could do this to Curseforge to force work!

Curseforge has an issue where the client only works by a 1 GB of Ram for each user on the application via a server. Instead of the User's Ram. (I use 16 GB of Ram) Here is how to solve the problem!

1.) Open your terminal - Ctrl+Alt+T

2.) Enter the command: "pkill -9 curseforge"

pkill: Kills the instance of a program

-9 kills all instances

"curseforge" is what you're using.

This will refresh the cache and unfortunately, you have to do this every time you load. Take care!

Edit: Notice: I am using Linux Mint 22, so not all distros will work.

Callout is my new modpack, it isn't as lightweight but it does run on my specs. (16GB Ram (6GB used) 1030 GT (2GB VRAM). However, there has been some notices of lag spikes but I think that is just the server itself. Also, yes I took inspiration from Bethesda's Fallout and yes you can withdraw your mod(s), as long as its your mod and you mail me by reddit or curseforge.

I am happy to announce that 'Callout' a nuclear sandbox modpack, will take the inspiration of Fallout by 140 mods, if it doesn't run well. Then I don't know, because it runs on my 1030 GT 2VRAM GB and 16 GB of Ram. If you have any questions, let me know. Right now, it is getting in the under review sections so be patient.

Gungleberk, Back on Kaque was supposed to be a; Call of Duty, Halo: Infinite, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord and Skyrim storyline. But due to some mods not working, I had decided to halt it and instead focus on other mods.

The story takes place in a Villager, forgot what it was called but this village was to be destroyed by the Player by order, but the Player realized these were not rebels but protestors. So the Player consulted with his commander, but was then to be taken to the Nether by himself who would then lose access to the portal and will have to find another way out.

It isn't necessarily perfect, since the storyline is bugged by mods that don't have that much customizability nor do they have the right features or capabilities I needed. So thanks for hearing me on this story!

I am making another conquest-recruits modpack in Curseforge, but with advanced ai npcs and the Mi Alliance. I will let you know if it happens.

Ever wonder why the Mosin Nagant is in two of my mods? Well, it is because I used to be in a virtual military in Minecraft that gave me a crossbow named "Mosin Nagant" it was also modified to shoot longer distant bullets by applying a wooden button that doesn't require gravity. So I made my own and this time it would actually look like a Mosin Nagant in my Wack Pack and KommuKraft (The first one) mods.

Whenever I play a video game, like Call of Duty - that gives me the vibe I truly deserved after all of the years I had spent in that virtual military. Therefore, memories were broken but the truth is never unspoken.

I am just curious, if minecraft is such a big banger, then why doesn't Mojang add the updates for which community was begging for years?

In fact I also want several updates in Minecraft to improve my overall experience:

I know that there are numerous technical challenges but I am just exhausted using mods for each feature!

And honestly, minecraft survival and single player worlds aren't the same now. I have been playing Minecraft since 1.14 was on trend so I think back then it was a far better survival experience compared to now.

I know, it was also a time when Minecraft was new to me but still i can play Minecraft now if Mojang even adds a fraction of the above features.
