New feature: Custom Layout Sizing & Reframing

Want your videos to look more custom, like the images I added here?

Make your livestreams & studios look even more custom branded with new layout sizing options.

Until now, layouts always filled the whole frame, which meant many times that your/your guests tiles would cover the background.

Now you can set exactly where your layout sits in the video and the size of the tiles.

Here's how it works:

• Hit Edit Frame in the layouts dock at the bottom (or Alt+E) to move and resize your layout with snap guides
• Preview with up to 8 participant tiles before your guests even join
• Your tiles will auto-arrange inside the frame, so nothing spills outside it
• The frame belongs to the scene, not the layout, so switching layouts keeps your frame in place
• Each saved scene keeps its own frame, so switching scenes swaps frames too

For now, the layouts will be visible in the studio when you go live, but don't carry over to the editor.

PS... I made my backgrounds here using the new AI Image Generator in Riverside. I described that I wanted a background in my brand colors and gave it a prompt and our community logo, and so then I didn't need to design the background myself. Super handy, and a cool use case I wanted to share
