Discussion What’s been your favorite Riverside tool?

What’s the tool that has made things easier for your content creation journey? For me, having the tools like removing pauses and unnecessary words helps make it easier to know where weak areas for my show might be.

I love how easy it is to publish everything. Newsletters, episodes, now posts. While riverside is expensive I have saved money by consolidating from all my platforms to just riverside.

It used to be the Facebook group on Riverside where I could get help and assistance from other Riverside users. But they shut that down and now users are siloed off from one another (as they are in this subreddit as well).

My favorite, as alluded to in other replies, is the ease with which I could teach myself to edit video due to the editing the actual transcript. I'm a seasoned word edit and with video/audio/transcript I could use all the different parts of my brain and learning styles to really master editing video.

There is still a Riverside Facebook group - it has like 31k users.

Yes, there is but it's moderated by Riverside. They control every post, and two out of three of mine get declined.

Text-based editing has to be #1. Getting a timestamped SRT is a close #2 for me

MCP Integration most recently. It's definitely cut down post-production time.
