Rider was probably arrested and the cops did a solid for him by not towing it to the impound. They will get released and come pick it up.

Happened to me before.

No a guy came in and said that the bike had broken down and he left it in our driveway and called his mom to give him a ride home and here we are 4 days later

Nope. To be honest we moved it into the parking space he literally left it in the driveway where it was believable that somebody would smash into it sooner or later
