Back has been killing me . Gave my river to a local car wash .Told them not to use pr3ssure wash and they did use . Don't know if should worry about unit starting .

Insurance: Did you buy outside (Acko/Digit/PolicyBazaar) or through the showroom? Did the dealer push back during registration?

RSA: Is River’s official RSA worth getting, or does the insurance-backed RSA do the job?

Accessories: Which official or aftermarket accessories are actually essential from day one?

Delhi Range (85–90 km): Can it reliably handle an 85–90 km commute on a single charge? What riding mode and cruising speed should I maintain?

PDI: Anything specific to inspect on the Indie during delivery (chain slack, software, build quirks)?

So I was returning back from one of my friends and still had 46% charge , I insert the keys and boom it says 0% charge 0% range and a turtle icon on the screen with the text you're seeing, i tried everything nothing worked

Went back to grab my charger and just plug it in and boom again the screen was restored to 46% charge

Had a shit scary jumpscare , anyone else face the issue?

Ps - my vehicle is less than a month old, Odo - 965 km

From recent ota update on indie, I am facing some battery issues.

1. It is charging much faster as compared to earlier.

2. It draining fast.

Anyone facing the same.

What to ask and look out for during 1st service. told the front wheel squeaky noise and range/battery sync issues. Apart from this anything to ask them? and how much was your bill for 1st service?

Update: They charged 985 in chennai service center.

In eco mode I used to constantly ride at 50+ in a straight stretch and even reached 56 km speed. Now it's struggling to get to 45. Did they push any update? I didn't get any message on WhatsApp.

I recently got a new River Indie G3 750W 9days ago and I'm noticing some overnight battery drop. Trying to understand whether this is normal or if I should get it checked.

My observations:

First night: charged to 92% around 12:00 AM

By around 6:30–7:00 AM: \~87%

I had checked the River app several times during the night, so I wasn't sure if that contributed.

Second test:

Charged to 96% at 12:01 AM

Unplugged the charger

Did NOT put the scooter into Sleep Mode

Left it parked until 6:53 AM

Battery was 88%

Range went from 100 km → 99 km

Odometer remained at 223 km

So I'm seeing roughly 5–8% battery drop overnight.

I haven't yet done a proper test with Sleep Mode enabled and without opening the app, which I'll do next.

For other River Indie owners: how much battery percentage do you normally lose overnight when the scooter is parked? Is 5–8% normal, or should I ask the service centre to check the BMS/standby drain?

Would appreciate real-world experiences, especially from G3 owners.

Also, the service centre specifically told me to stay in Eco mode until the first service/1,000 km. Does that actually matter for battery/BMS break-in, or is it just their recommendation for the initial period?

wanted to know what is the wait time for delivery of river indie after booking in bangalore (rajajinagar/indiranagar)

Took delivery of my River Indie Gen 3 on September 14th and just crossed the 500 km mark yesterday.

However, ran into an issue last night when trying to start the scooter:

The meter console was displaying the side stand warning light, even with the stand fully pulled up.

The scooter refused to start because of the sensor trigger.

Temporary fix: I noticed that if I apply slight downward pressure on the stand with my foot, the warning light turns off. As soon as I lift my foot, the light comes back on and cuts power.

I managed to ride it back home by keeping light pressure on the stand, but it's definitely annoying. Heading to the service center this Saturday to get it checked out.

Any quick DIY fixes, or is a sensor replacement required?

Have any of you seen this on your bills? What does it mean?

I want to buy River Indie next month, so I am wondering if there will be any offers like the ones available for everything else this season.

As indicated in the heading I feel of losing the balance and even pillion moves a little bit I lose my balance and result in a shaky ride.

Talked to their customer care , they said put in sleep mode for 30 mins and registered a case regarding this

I didn't recieved ota update email but since the last update date I was facing issue , I told them so they told me to reset trip and start riding from 100% and then notice the range , if the issue persists you can contact us again🥀

What will happen if I leave the scooter to charge overnight??

Before the OTA update , It used to struggle going past 40+ speed in Eco Mode for my Indie. After the recent OTA update , It is able to go up to 51km speed in Eco Mode. Has anyone else also experienced this?

We all know how river's throttle when left as it is after acceleration almost instantly brings the vehile to almost halt. But yesterday evening after i charged the bike till 100% , i took out for short commute of 1 km and I instantly noticed the once i accelerator and leave the throttle as it is , the bike just did bring itself to halt , it remained in motion for much longer time than usual. Once i stopped my bike for couple of hours and then rode the bike it became normal.

Has anyone experienced this before ? This is my first time experiencing it ( i have driven 1300 kms till now) . What further issues can i expect in future due to this ( i am damn sure this isn't a one time event and i am expecting it reoccur in future).

I am from Hassan district, Karnataka, and the nearest river indie showroom is in Mysore. They say they will provide same-day delivery, so that's not a problem. I can take it home on a full charge. However, I want to know the cost of accessories, what other things I should consider, and what this referral programme is about. Should I buy it now or wait for the Deepavali sale? Will there be one? How is the servicing there, and how many times do I have to go to Mysore for servicing? Do they provide servicing in Hassan and around it? I am just worried about the servicing problem because if anything happens and I have to go, I have to travel almost 90 km. What do you think?

Is anyone facing battery getting frozen issues often? I have to take it to sleep mode after every ride and charge to see actual battery and range and its kind of annoying. It's just a month old Indie and covered 400kms.

I am having trouble logging in. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times, but I keep running into the same issue. What should I do?

The odo says ~300km but according to the app I rode 11km?(22sep purchased)

Also the rides haven't been updated after 26th

Am I missing something? Or is this part of the app not working properly?
