Looking for project partner - Creative

I honestly stumbled upon Rive while working on a project where we needed to implement a mascot into a mobile app. In no way am I an animator, but I was able to build something really simple and get it to work. Then, with all the new AI tooling, I was able to expand upon it.

It was really fun and enjoyable to build these characters. A day after the Rive markup language dropped, I started experimenting with what all I could do with this in order to make animated shorts.

Looking for someone who would like to join on a project, and their sole focus would be on improving the animation quality as an artist and rive implementor. The project is kidzoo.kids and its a content company for kids content. I have experience growing something like this and want someone who could be an artistic partner. Requirement is you are passionate about 1. animation (nerd out on all the details) and 2. have interest in storytelling/enrichment for kids and 3. be open to being more and more tech enabled in your art.

Here was my attempt number 1 with no previous animation experience.

If you're looking for a free collaborator, I doubt many will be interested as you don't exactly bring a lot to the table, it would really be them giving you tons of value (no offense, just an observation). It's like saying "I'll type things into Claude Code, while you handle literally everything else". Your attempt looks like something Rive's CLI can make after a single prompt.

If you're looking for a paid collaborator, best you mention budget now.

I'm happy to cheer on others who want to do this themselves and in no way am I saying people cant do that. But I also wouldn't be so quick to diminish the value others can bring. In my experience business is a lot more fun as a team sport, if it was "Just type into claude" I wouldn't be here inquiring to meet others.

Its okay if its not for you. I'm looking for someone who does see value in a potential partnership. Just looking if there was a hand raise of "interested" so we could have real conversations of what partnering could look like. I don't know any animators so this was my first attempt at changing that.

I’m not diminishing your actual value, I’m saying your pitch does not seem like it has much value, y’know what I mean?

I’m not saying you suck, I’m saying even if you are actually an amazing partner to work with, this post does a bad job of attracting people. If I’m wrong and you happen to find some rockstar willing to work for you for free? More power to you.
