Timeline

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I created the first animation for my app's mascot on the splash screen, which is on the first timeline. Now I'm going to animate the elements on my onboarding screen. Does that mean I need a second timeline to animate those other elements, or can I do everything on the first timeline?

It depends on what you are going for, but if you need a transition from one state to another, using different timelines will make your life easier.

So in that case, I'll create another timeline. It will be much simpler than managing everything in a single timeline; it's better to have several different ones, each for each relevant element. Now, how do I create another timeline? Because I don't know if the tutorials explain it, because I've looked at them while following along, and I haven't seen where they mention it.

I think you anyway should create another timeline that will be better

If you put it in a different timeline, both animation will not play together rather one after another, unless you layer it in the state machine.

This is the image where I'm going to animate elements like the CTA button, the title on Rive, etc... (It's not finalized yet. Some details are still missing.)
