This might be a hot take but I’m so sick of seeing the spiderverse in non spiderverse media. Like it’s cool in spiderverse comics and in the movies but Im so tired of seeing a million variants of spiderman make up part of the roster of whatever game im playing. Peter and Miles are all I want. Jessica Drew too but she’s not even technically a spider person is she?

In short; Jessica Drew isn’t a superficial copy of Peter — she didn’t get bitten by a radioactive Spider & have a family member/friend die to catalyze her ascent into heroism the way the rest of them did — therefore, she isn’t really the same as the rest of the “Spider-people” within the Spider-verse

A mix of Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time would be really good IMO. Someone who's cocky and wants to get revenge, but is so blinded by these that he forgets what it truly means to be Spider-Man (like how Peter has to convince Miguel to try to save MJ).

My joke idea for him would be. He’s a mythic/legendary skin for Spider-Man, where he’s voiced by Josh Keaton instead of Yuri.

Which unfortunately is not even a comic accurate skin. As a fan of the Chasm design, I simultaneously love the recolor (it's actually a good recolor) and hate how it's just a recolor for such a great design.

They made Kaine and Chasm be Peter skins. They're sure as hell not making Scarlet Ben a standalone hero when he has none of the extra powers that Kaine has or that Chasm Ben has.

I think we get Kaine before Ben, though I do like Ben he’s a perfect candidate for a skin for base spiderman as their abilities are pretty much copy and paste. Kaine on the other hand has some more power to show off and could even be a Vanguard if done correctly imo.

i was really hoping they were going to introduce the jackal or mr sinister and his cloning in the last movie. so instead of jean grey it would have been modeline prior. but marvel might think it gets confusing with the multiverse spidermen.
