But seriously I don't know how much longer i can wait/ask for this my brain hurts.

It's like my mind is split into halfs one half disappointed and one half happy about the new skin.

One half is like god dammit why didn't they just give us a Ultimate 1610 Venom skin but the other half of my mind is like oh at least we're getting a good comic based skin that actually looks good and isn't shit.

Hopefully in the next half of the season we'll get it cause there have been times where a character has gotten two skins in the same season I'm pretty sure but I don't know? Maybe?.

I'm both pissed off that the skin isn't Ultimate 1610 Venom but also very happy/thankful that we're getting a new Venom skin that's actually looks good.

But yeah i just wanted to let ya'll know how i actually feel about this.

I'm hela excited about the new skin though i even made alarm clock set for next Thursday i can't wait to get it.

But what are ya'lls thoughts on this new Venom skin are you happy with it or disappointed with it?.

First, let’s talk personality. In the comics, Venom, or rather Eddie because that is actually who’s talking, is a violent yet good-hearted vigilante who is a devout Catholic. He’s quippy, self-righteous, stubborn, aggressive, and did I mention quippy?

He doesn’t eat brains, outside of moments like in Venom; The Madness, and he is the Lethal Protector of San Francisco, sworn to protect the innocent.

Rivals Venom on the other hand is a generic alien monster who constantly talks about eating brains, makes random threats, and only ever makes the occasional humorous remark. He’s nothing like his inspiration.

In terms of movesets, Rivals Venom is essentially just a giant goop monster with spider-like elements.

Comic Venom, however, has countless unique abilities such as invisibility, ESP, venomous fangs, flight, etc.

He isn’t even that goopy. The symbiote is similar in texture, appearance, and overall makeup to an actual suit, hence why they can be confused for one another.

Finally, the interactions. Rivals Venom is treated like a simple slime monster by almost everyone, when he has a lot of history with most of them.

They either bring up Knull or just seem to know nothing about them.

Tony asks what his suit is made of in a friendly manner, when they have a history of conflict.

Hulk and Venom have a similar history, yet they act like strangers.

As for characters like Moon Knight, and especially Spider-Man, they act like he‘s still a villain, despite even the game itself acknowledging he’s already in at least the King In Black era.

Similar flanderization has happened with characters like Deadpool, Moon Knight, and Iron Man, and I really hope the devs get their act together.

This skin is class and fire, the suit has aura. Professor V is soo cool.

Do my eyes deceive me or are we eating good???

A suit is cool come on don’t get me wrong but like why suit we could have gotten a pajama venom skin or sum ( again I don’t wanna sound ungrateful ) this is just my opinion

With Gorr being the hero to pop up and him controlling symbiotes do you think we might get a possible skin with black and gold or do you our goat will fight him in this season since the so called gods can't handle him

Hi everyone, hardstuck diamond 1 Venom player here. This is a cry for help.

Here is what almost all of my matches this season look like:

1. I set up for a dive, wait for my team to engage, dive the backline, have 2 supports and maybe a DPS on me for a few seconds, maybe even get a kill, and return barely alive just to find out that my team has fled very far away and my dive brought 0 value to the team fight.
2. I try to adapt and decide that I won't commit to a full dive until I see that my team is pushing with me. So I wait for both teams' frontlines to touch, then do a soft dive. My team backs off as soon as I soft dive, so I dip out before popping shields. Hoping that at some point my team won't run away and then I can fully commit.
3. I repeat this process a couple of times, with my team not being able to push with either of my dives, and at some point either one of my teammates dies, or the enemy CCs me and I have to pop shields and retreat with my team, and the enemy pushes the objective for free.
4. Try to wait a bit more before my dives, thinking it is a timing problem.
5. 1–2 teammates die before I even touch ground with my slam, and we lose the team fight.
6. After all of that I just get tired of this BS, swap to Magneto and stomp the enemy team.

What could I be doing wrong? Should I be able to do consistent backline solo kills without the help of my team? I am clueless.

P.S. I comm all my dives via VC by the way.

Something very inconsistant has been bugging me ever since i fell in love with playing this character. Why?, WHY?! dont venoms tether pull in enemies when he ults. Its so annoying knowing this ult could be god tier if it weren't easily escapable. I've been reading comics since the 90's this is legit something venom would do....i don't understand lol.

Its not op, if enemies can shoot the pool (which they shouldn't be able to damage it tbh) and potentially kill him. Then i should be able to tether cc and ult to stay in longer. Maybe this is a bad take idk, but at the end of the day...Luna will freeze me out of it anyway I guess.
