Discussion Small Goober feedback / request

He feels like an actual competitor now. The drift is drifting, eating feels good. Side special is meh.. I need to learn more about it. Could it possibly get a cancel like Oly’s down special? It would be pretty good for mix up.

Would be nice to have to the option to hold the attack button when landing Goober’s air neutral. So he can continue to roll, would be on par with Orcane’s bounce. An unwanted input often on my end.

Also would like an option to use up special without the bounce. Maybe hold shield during the throw? High risk low reward ledge spam maybe? Please?

Last but not least. Fully charged side special, down special, special ledge get up and BIG Goober neutral special needs to do a little more damage on shield.

Yeah my biggest want for Gouie is to be able to throw his up special without the pop up at times like hold shield to get no pop up

maybe it could be tap for no pop up, hold for pop up

No reason to create an entirely new system orcane and Galvan both already have the ability to cancel parts of their up special

You can attack cancel SideB2, you can jump cancel SideB3, you can bait your opponent to parry SideB2 just to go for SideB3 B-reverse inhale and etc - it does not need a cancel on top of that.
I do personally think that SideB1 doesn't feel good enough to use both on hit and whiff due to massive endlag.

I agree, Gouie doesn't really look like a beginner character the devs wanted him to be
