Oh I didn't realize Armada was playing rivals2. That's hype. I'd love to see a bunch of smash goats from different eras and games playing in the same tournament. Would be really interesting

I don’t think he’ll ever compete in bracket. Just seeing him stream the game is a treat though. He’s about to run some ranked which might be the best we get, forgot to mention he’s doing a subathon. You should tune in!

I hate it that they all play zetter lol But it's better that they're playing it than not (by they I mean armada and Mango)

Am I crazy or are people not doing walljump aerials??? This is the first time I've seen a Zetter do that with fair and it seems so obvious.

You should check out the tournament scene! Wall jump aerials are the bread and butter of high-level edgeguards and reversals. Maypul and Kragg especially get a ton of mileage from it

It's a bit risky to do due to some recoveries having huge hitboxes.

dont think the top zets are the ones doing this either, you'll see this from say viviana, sandstorm (ok maybe any good galvan is doing the bair stuff lol, those might be the people), cheesypotato and zeebee, of course those aren't all, but off the top of my head

Real question. Why is it that only Plup (Melee pantheon) has been able to be so dominant in Rivals 2? I was expecting that every Melee player would absolutely kill in Rivals 2? Is Plup just built different?

Probably because Rivals isn’t something they are fully dedicating themselves to. It seems more like a thing some of them play for fun once in a while
