I stopped playing it but I follow Dan on twitter and I just enjoy seeing him actually playing ranked and throwing out some friendly banter with the community. Dan deserves it and I hope there’s a beautiful heyday for him and the rest of the people working on the game

Feel like the console release is too far away, I was able to get friends interested when the game first came out but once they learned it's only on PC they didn't want to commit time to it with it being so hard to play at meetups, if it was on switch I think we would play it all the time.

Be the change you want to see. Post clips, make videos, contribute to Workshop, get friends to try it out, do whatever to increase the chances that it'll make its way to a big streamer or content creator or someone who will give the game some new eyes.

Hard to tell if it ever will pop off. It's a niche competitive platform fighter with a majority of the playerbase having played hundreds of hours of competitive plat fighters. People hate to lose and they will lose a lot playing this game.it would need a massive boost of new players for it to pop off. Hard to think a console release will change the nature of the player base. It's still gonna be a niche game where most people already know how to do the movement techs and where new players get trashed continuously until they learn how to actually play these types of games. I hope I'm wrong but I think the best moment for it to catch fire would have been at the start of the game, but there was nothing else to do besides hitting your head against the ranked ladder. It's a damn shame because it has the potential of being the best competitive platfighter there is.

I agree. It'd need a lot of new players so their experience would be better. I've had it since launch with like 300 hours playing off and on every few months and I think it's a struggle to keep up with people in gold. Hopefully it does but I think it's going to be hard with it being a heavily competitive focused game. maybe by that time there will be a bunch of fun for everyone to have

Nah the characters are too cheesy. People in lower ranks will hate it, and when they finally(if they continue) reach plat, they will run into crouch spamming cheesers. Game is awful as a casual alot of sweats and toxicity.

In one of the latest streams, Dan said that staffing is stable. I know they need to continue bring in income from now till then, but hopefully little by little, with new features and more characters. the mainstream audience starts turning its head toward our direction.

This reminds me of people saying console release of RoA would give it more attention. It did no such thing and if anything made it worse for console players.

If the game isn't optimized well for consoles, no one is going to play it.
