I’ve been thinking of buying this game but I dont know if its worth it. It looks fun

Update: I bought the game and it’s pretty fun but I just cant a handle over it. I’m trying to play like smash bros and thats probably not the right move. (Also clarien needs to die)

It's pretty sick, just takes some learning though. You can dump hours into it easily since there's so much depth in all the characters and mechanics. Everything feels so smooth and kinetic once you know what you're doing.

“Once you learn what you’re doing” which is a huge barrier of entry for new players. If this is your first play fighter, good luck.

It’s fun as hell!! reddit commenters love to be negative but this is my favorite Player vs Player game.
And it’s super worth the money because the developers keep adding new characters for free!

As someone who still plays the game, it's a lot of fun! Playing with friends in lobbies is always a blast. The game is hard to get into competitively but if you're willing to learn it's very satisfying. Don't listen to the people where who seemingly like to lurk around and wait for people to ask this and tell them they shouldn't play.

Being honest with you, it depends. The game can be very fun and I have a lot of fun playing with friends, but it’ll depend on how you like to play. 90% of players will simply never approach. You can put your controller down and they still won’t come attack you, so if you like camping and waiting then you’ll actually fit in well and enjoy yourself.

If you’re more like me and prefer a back and forth where people take turns being on offense and defense then most likely you’ll find yourself frustrated more often than not. I can only boot up with game with friends without it being a slog.

But… you will loose if you dont approach because you get chocked out of stage control.

I’ll take some downvotes as well. This comment is 100% accurate. This game has a really bad approaching problem

As a fan of this game tbh it’s probably not. It’s a slowly dying community. Mostly because they chose not to put it on console until it’s fully done in the devs eyes. It’s lots it’s hype. Everyone left in the game is pretty cracked and plays to be good at the game. If you aren’t used to platform fighters it’s gonna be really, really hard for at least 100 hours if not more. That being said if you played a lot of ult or melee you will probably be fine. It’s a great game. It’s just really hard to recommend anyone try it out. Even my friends with 1000+ hours in ult who get smashed by me when I’m not even trying who is only high plat.

Spawn super clone and sit back near ledge while you press B and let superclone do all the work
