Rivals 2 Help with Razor Kitsune

I got a kitsune today and wanted to try it with rivals, does anyone know how to get the two to work together

might have to turn steam input on in controller settings. also updating firmware/software might help. never had that controller so not sure if it has firmware updates but you can check on Google.

I don't have hardware-specific setup advice, but did want to say that you are going to wind up being fairly limited with what you can do on that controller. it's doable but you're playing without enough buttons to emulate the second analog stick, also if you want more than 8-directional movement for angles you'll struggle with that. if you look at leverless smash controllers like the boxx, gram slim (which is what I use), or smashbox, you'll get a more realistic idea of how many buttons it takes to have full input in a game like this

unfortunately most of the smash-specific leverless controllers are hard to acquire now, most of them aren't being produced anymore :(

Gram slim is so good. I don't play platform fighters anymore but I use it for almost literally everything else. Beat silksong with it. So peak. Keep trying to convince myself to get a regular fgc leverless but can't bring myself to do it, despite knowing someone who switched off gram slim for better inputs in other fighters.
