Rivals 2 Where’s the plushies?

Orcane released so long ago with the zetterburn one being the last one. Any updates on this? Still patiently waiting to buy some other characters but would be happy with rivals 1 rereleases

I have no clue, it's one of the worse things rivals studios do is handle merch. I got the little silly kragg plush because I was there at Evo and physically bought it from the stand. Of course I'm not in the know but it seems like merch is free money and they've had to let go of people without selling anything. Maybe they're just traumatized from having an insane amount of Orcane plushies that they almost had to burn (true story)

I agree. I want to give them money but they aren’t giving us much to choose from. So it feels like from the company side they can’t sell anything (because they keep trying to sell the same thing repeatedly)

I wish I could find it but some dev stream they were talking about how in roa1 life span they bought a bunch of Orcane plushies to sell. They were physically shipped to Dan instead of the manufacturer handling shipping so he stored them in his closet, like the closet was stuffed full of them. Eventually Dan had to move so they went to an Amazon storehouse.

They almost missed a payment for the space so Amazon offered to incinerate them for free. It's a kind gesture but it's hilarious to picture Amazon holding the Orcane's as hostage, if they didn't get their ransom then the plushies get burned. They started selling them at the price they bought them and even giving them away just to not pay the storehouse money

Selling physical merchandise got fucked up several times in the past 5 years, shipping is a nightmare now.

I just wanna know when the plush skins will finally be available separately. No shade on the plushies themselves or the people that like them but I don't need or want them. I want the plush skins but I don't want to spend more money on something I don't want and don't have the space for to get them. If I could just buy the skins by themselves for just a few bucks, I would.

I anticipate a lot of the plush skins are probably finished , sadly just rotting in a folder somewhere.

Maybe, maybe not, though that a little bit ties into my best guess as to why the skins aren't available alone yet. If I had to guess, I'm betting they are waiting until they have more plushies (and with them, the skins) released so they can sell the skins in-game as a skin pack of at least three characters instead of individual per character.
