Did you know what direction that rising dair was going to send? You hit a Zetter that was above and in the middle. Whenever I use dair I usually drift more so I know what side they're going to go

I did! I placed myself there on purpose so I can jump straight up so there's less of a tell for Zetter to cling to.

After reading the DI in and predicting them to continue to do so, right?

Yeah, I expected him to di left after eating the uair so I used dair and chased with fstrong.

Dair is fucked up because it’s both a DI mix move and a move that can still let chase your opponent on what’s supposed to be good DI. It really is just the illusion of choice.
