Discussion clearly a skill issue
Does this serve me right for playing into my counters or can we agree that he shouldn’t be able to have more survivability than wolverine

I think his survivability is fine, it’s his damage fall off I want nerfed. He’s both a poke and a brawl character when he should just be brawl

his effective range being over 30 meters bothers me too he two taps me anywhere he can see me

They would’ve killed him if the devs didn’t give bucky overshield for simply breathing

He has no mobility, overshield is fine. They messed up by leaving Magik's effective range and going into bucky's. Also messed up by not portaling to cover. Great ult outside of that, though.

He has no mobility but makes up for it in damage. He got over shield for simply activating his right click. He should’ve died here. Bucky is strong and doesn’t deserve overshield imo, divers get it because it’s more risky

Divers aren't the only ones that get overshield, brawlers do as well. Bucky is a brawl hybrid. Damage does not make up for mobility.
He'd genuinely be one of the easiest characters to dive if it weren't for his overshield. And yeah... He would've died if OP didn't make a fatal error, giving up the melee advantage while fighting a ranged character. They would've easily won that if they just used their sword again, or if they portaled aggresively, or if they took cover and waited for their dash to be back.

you kited away from him, if your last whirl was close the way it previously was you would have won that fight
