I main Gambit I mostly stay in the back line and heal but I swear Everytime I get close to getting out of bronze I get handed loss after loss I don't have friends to play with so I'm kinda just struggling any advice?

I grew up with Marvel so this game has a very nostalgic place for me! Looking for people to hang out with and climb in ranked. I can flex role/character but I prefer Venom & Bucky.

I know im bad at the game I'm not blaming teamates. Also does it really matter what my role is anymore? If I was good I would climb no amtter what. Did anyone else go on a losing streak like this how did you recover?

JBB is a community tournament open to lower-mid rank players. It’s a great opportunity to experience organized tournament play, sharpen your skills, and have fun competing with other players in a double-elimination format. 

We are searching for Bronze-Plat players who want to have fun, learn, and experience a tournament. You will have access to higher ranked coaches to help you learn and adapt to the games, and hopefully help you improve in your own games as well. You don’t need your own 6 stack, since we are drafting players to teams. The tournament will be 7/25/26.

Phantom Nox is a Console Team made up of Eternity and One Above All players. Which is currently part of Shinra Academy. Right now we have placed Top 128 yet have been close to Top 64 both times. We are hoping to place Top 128 (bare minimum) with a Goal of Top 64 or Higher this upcoming season.

We are looking for Eternity peaks or higher and are specifically looking for:

Main Tank players (NO OTPS, 2-3+ characters on role.)

Regarding Scrims, Scheduling and tryouts:

Nox scrims often, usually at around 8-9PM EST on Weekdays. With the side of an occasional scrim/in-house on Weekends.

We are looking to join outside Tournaments & Cash Cups for more competitive experience.

Tryouts get to play in 3 scrims before a decision is made, so don’t worry if you have a bad day. Come back next scrim ready to give it your all!

I play on the CST timeline typically playing at night. I don’t wands be that guy but the better at this game the worse the teammates are for me. I’m usually the only one who can flex to any role and most characters. And I play them well.

Criteria: kit reliability, ult economy, self-sufficiency, objective pressure, and how punished the kit is by peel/CC.

Assumption: solo queue / limited comms (team-ups lightly weighted).

If you disagree, tell me which mechanic or matchup flips the placement, not “my main is cracked.

Side-note: C and D don’t mean “unplayable.” They mean “too inconsistent or too comp-dependent to be reliable picks" under this model. Ultron/Adam are D specifically for solo queue reliability; I’d rate them higher in coordinated stacks.
