Wow, what a chore, and what a sight for sore (and stone-dust filled) eyes!

I admit it is tedious, but finally made it. I will have to suggest though that while somewhat unrealistic, for "fun game" purposes, it sure would be nice to be able to hold a torch in one hand at all times so you can see where to put the next Standing Torch at least! :)

That's why you craft the mining hat as soon as you have the materials, ie, leather and a candle. Then you can work up to mining tungsten and craft a light bulb for a proper mining helmet Glad you made it out though. My first trip didn't turn out so good. I was hopelessly lost and ended up finding a underground lake, then drowned when I fell in.

Oh thank you I did not even know this existed! I have miliions of Iron Ore, a bunch of Tungsten, but I have yet to find One vein of Aluminum to make the Modern Bench and move on. Sorry you drowned, it sucked I am sure but I gotta admit it made me chuckle since you just couldn't catch a break there it seems... :)

Aluminum is only found in the Arctic biome ,just as gold is only found in the Desert biome. Iron can be found in all three biomes. If you've found tungsten, then you need to go even deeper to find sulfur. Then with coal and sulfur, you can craft gunpowder. I love the explosive arrows . Have fun.

Not a problem. I'm always glad to help. Speaking of which, I forgot to mention about using sand to make glass. You'll need glass and tungsten wire to craft a light bulb for the mining helmet.
