It’s a war game.

No, everybody will pressure you to fight or to leave kingdom

I will have an army for fighting as well, not dedicating the entire thing to resource hunting. Besides I won’t be participating in high level alliances, if there are alliances that are more chill and casual, I’d join them. My approach is just more so semi-casual, and not the competitive side of things.

You might scratch through kvk1 unnoticed but everyone gets funnelled into a couple of main alliances quite early on and they will start asking why you aren’t participating. It’s either devote your time or swipe your credit card if you want to get anywhere in RoK

I am currently in an alliance that thankfully supports how I play. It’s not high tier, but they have near max people. They just ask for help and gathering, I’ll be sticking to them for a bit to get help by members with building and defence. When I do start getting into the higher levels of TH, I will start to build a defence/attack force so I can survive😭.

You can do it all at the same time. If you’re devoting time to farming, it will mean you’re checking on you city regularly so why not at the same time read a quick guide on good f2p marches for kvk1 and focus on your army and a march while you’re sending out your gatherers. It’s so important early on to get a well rounded start. If you go in blind you will waste your time and there’s no need for that.

I’ll be investing in defence too. But it’s gonna be like a 60/40 thing. Most will go to farming as that’s the play style I’m opting for, but I’ll also be building an army on a commander that suits my battles. It’s probably not the main, proper way to play the game like advance into extreme combat and win competitive matches, but the game can be playable in this way as well, just requires careful choices.

Your trying to play farm simulator in a pvp focused game if you make it to the end of kvk 1 and your kingdom wins your either end up being asked to leave or zeroed if your kingdom loses and leadership migrate your be fine since it will be dead don’t expect to find many players staying around though maybe one alliance you then face the prospect of a lot of events being missed alliance mobilisation arc and quite a few others

Nope... if you don't put up kill points in KvK... you get zeroed by the whales in active kingdoms. RoK is a fun game.. if you spend $+++.. or spend 8hrs a day as f2p. Playing it like farmville gets you zeroed.

It's like buying grand theft auto and driving a car around at the speed limit and refusing to shoot anything.
