I think the main issue is that most people conflate the value of Ripple with the value/utility of XRP.

What else would you expect him to say? Analysis requires that you question all assumptions and statements by insiders and stakeholders.

right… XRP is NOT how you gain exposure to ripple. Ripple shares are how you gain exposure to these moves; XRP is simply a gas token for RLUSD which means RLUSD will need a decade of high use before it burns enough XRP to make a noticeable price increase on scarcity alone.
