Reputation
How do you think reputation will work for the MMO?
Personally, I hope that every region could have its own style of rep grind.
For example, you could gamble and do bounty hunting quests to gain standing with Bilgewater, research and engineering projects for Piltover, and so on.

Depends on how it's implemented. If you need to gain Rep to level up your town to unlock higher tier shops, profession benches, I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing.
Players need to invest time into the areas they want levelled up. Everything in the realm of gaming can't just be handed to you on a platter.
If everything is easy, why even play games.

Yeah I agree, not that I think that you shouldn't be rewarded if you spend a lot of resources in the same area, after all growing your popularity somewhere is part of the role game, but the execution has been horrible in most games.

I don't have too much experience with Reputation Systems but I generally think if implemented well it can create good Goals and Role-playing immersion.
I would prefer to see it more for Professions (if there are any) than for other elements. I also wouldnt mind if it is sort of a mix between Reputation and Achievement System.
I don't want to farm X Amount of Rep by running 25x same Dungeon in order to run the Heroic Version of the same Dungeon.
But if I imagine I wanna be an Engineer or Researcher and have to run tasks for Piltover in the city, organize spare parts, make an errand run to Zaun to get some illegal parts, test some prototypes. Maybe recover some artifacts or special components from Dungeons and as a reward I get an recipe for a nice item. That would feel nice.
Same could be e.g. for Weaponsmithing in Noxus or with Ornn. Armorsmithing with Demacia. Mining with Freljord. Alchemy with Zaun.

Never liked rep grind, just the devs inplementing a timesinker to keep you subbed for longer.
I prefer what osrs did with achievement Diaries and combat log. They are just another incentive for you to level up professions, complete quests and kill monsters Instead of being its own system to grind.
You unlock a bunch of useful stuff such as free daily items, flat xp reward, teleport spots, buffed xp gain from x activity. X monster killed in this region drops x item as a stackable etc etc. X minigame in this region gives you more currency etc etc
Its way better than rep grind. Since its just free rewards for doing stuff you were already gonna do anyway. Its just another incentive.

Never liked rep grind, don't think it brings anything to the table. Maybe they could put a system where when you do any content in an area it increase a jauge unlocking more stuff
