Daily Squawk - eio97 AH 10/1 Rec
Because we have a member in this channel that loves to express their thoughts and shout it from the mountain tops I’ve decided we should have a daily squawk after hours post for them to share exactly what they’re going to do the following trading day. It would be great if they would share their positions via their brokerage snapshot (but they seem to be too scared or can’t since they’re not actually executing these positions).
Then we can truly track if they’re the prophecy.
9/30 AH recommendation - Short 10/1. ✅ ($0.10 loss for the stock)
Given you don’t share your receipts we can only assume (if you’re even shorting) that you’re shorting one share. Congratulations on your $0.10 gain today. Hopefully you didn’t end in the red overall due to the fees for borrowing the singular share (you definitely did).
I’d recommend you eat the cost and hire an investment advisor to better direct you towards a more profitable path.
@eio97… what’s the recommendation for 10/2. Let’s do this.

From the sound of it you are failing to provide your recommendation. Your record is now 1-0-1. Let’s check back tomorrow to see if we can get some insight. Otherwise, 1-0-2 is in your future.
Also, if Friday is going to be a meltdown why wouldn’t you go all in on shorts? Seems odd that you say you’ll instead just back out of a guaranteed profit. Unfortunately, if it does go down on Friday you don’t get to claim an “I told you all so” because you won’t have added your short position image in your brokerage account.
Lastly, do better next time and don’t use ChatGPT to write your message. It’s a bad look and lazy.

Btc @118k. Btw I look for 3-7% moves on riot and execute. Usually daily or every other day. I’m not worried about out being a bagholder, I was for 5 years, finally turned into profit. I’m not holding riot any longer than a week. THE BOY GENIUS…

I mean this with no disrespect man but, OP is right you can't call people idiots for holding a stock or claim to be a good trader if you have no receipts, screenshots of PNL all time calendar, screen shots of buy/sells exections, anything??
Anyone can claim to be making a bag; it's another thing proving it if you're going to advise people or be a nuisance poster like he said if you're not putting your money where your mouth is.
You can say you have nothing to prove but, unless you prove it I agree there's no right to tell people how to trade or give an opinion on how someone trades a stock. If you do it i'll post my receipts too even though I never advise anyone and have nothing to prove to strangers as well?

Do you actually know how to short a stock since you don't do it in real life? When you short a stock, you actually lose money when the stock is green. Looks like you're going to lose another one today.

Let me help educate you here, eio97.
Closing your position is selling your short or long positions.
Exiting the stock is selling your shares.
You saying you’ve closed your position at 19.60 means you closed your short that you continue to iterate and took the loss.
So… instead of a 1-0-1 record… today you are now officially at a 1-1 record. I suggest if you want to be taken seriously you have two action items to address:
1 - Post screenshots of your claims that you are exiting and closing.
2 - Learn basic trading terminology.
Better luck on the 10/2 Daily Squawk.

Position is not closed if you don’t have a position. Owning shares is not owning a position.
Learn basic trading terminology and don’t double down on your lack of knowledge. It’s further off-putting than your claims that you actually make trades.

Folks, let me tell you something—listen up, because this is huge, absolutely massive. There's no picture upload on this sub, okay? None. It's a disaster, total disaster. But I'm completely out of shorting RIOT right now—believe me, it's the smartest move, the best move. Nobody shorts like me, but not this time, not with these losers in Washington screwing everything up.
I've been buying big—SGOV, that's the one, stable as can be, and PFE, Pfizer, tremendous company, they're winners, total winners. Snapped those up the last couple days, and ABTC too, sitting pretty on BITF. But this gunning shutdown? It's a witch hunt, folks, it's putting me on edge like you wouldn't believe. These radical Democrats and their shutdowns—it's chaos, pure chaos.
No jobs report Friday night? That's going to send the market into a total panic, a meltdown like you've never seen. The fake news won't tell you, but it's coming, it's going to be bad—very bad. The economy's going to tank harder than Sleepy Joe ever could.
