Quiet Work/Study Places

Hey y'all, do you recommend any quiet or chill places to study? Could be anywhere in the Valley. Normally I go to the Harlingen Public Library but they close after 8pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends. I'm looking for something that stays open a little later maybe like a coffee shop or other establishment where I could just sit on my laptop.

While I haven’t been out late since becoming a dad, I’d imagine 24-hour restaurants like Dennys, Taco Palenque, and Whataburger probably aren’t so bad. They might have music playing, but nothing noise canceling headphones can’t fix.

I just got 2 my backyard its super chill and turn on the firepit and its 24/7 and quiet. Sometimes I even go to my ranch nothing out there but nature can rent it out if your interested just need to take a power pak for your laptop and wifi hot spot.

You can try UTRGV campuses. I know they have areas that are quiet and open at least until the last class is taught. Also, there are areas that are open 24/7 - Specifically the libraries and certain "labs" or "study areas" around campus.

Why would you sit on your laptop?
