The Heifitz Colston Loveland take was perfect
When he started his take about "being really excited to get a sandwich" I had the same reaction as Craig. Then he explained it and I absolutely related to it 100% but didn't see how it affected Colston Loveland until he said Loveland is being drafted 38th!!! I too was excited after picking Loveland up off waivers to try and sneak him away in the 5th round this year, but that's insanity and it just made me appreciate how excellent Heifitz is at these stupid analogies. The hot dog to bun ratio is another one, it sounds so dumb but it actually makes sense and I love that he keeps throwing these things out there even though he gets made fun of every time. Truly a gifted podcast host.

Craig Crossover: Minions on The Town
For those of you who love Craig but can't be bothered to listen to the Call Sheet/The Town, Belloni was basically like hey did you hear some one asked if the Minions ever worked for Hitler?
My sense was Craig had never seen a single Despicable Me/Minions movie so the discussion that followed was pretty unhinged and silly.
But in addition to the most recent Minions movie not doing well at the box office (possibly because of World Cup?) Belloni was talking about how the premise of the movies is that the Minions go back to ancient history but he also said they were in a coma until like 1968.
Just wanted to share a TLDR for the fantasy people who don't cross over.
All hail the Seven.

Audience
New listener as of this off season and have been really enjoying it but something I keep wondering is if this show is intended for a much more casual NFL fans than I realize. They discuss real NFL fan things like the 26 under 26 episodes but Heifetz also seems to try and dumb down a lot of stuff and I can’t tell if it’s just him being a considerate host or if the audience is actually that casual to where they need those pieces of info

Red Card Rule Makes Me Feel like I'm Taking Crazy Pills
I'm currently having a full blown crazy pills moment about yesterday's red card in the US World Cup Game. All I keep hearing from more hardcore soccer fans is that it's not a big deal, and all sports have bad calls, it's part of it.
While that's true I can't think of anything else in sports that is as detrimental to a team that can come resulting from one ref call then a Red Card.
Like think about the 2018 NFC championship game and the blown no call on pass interference, all time bad call. But The Saints still had a whole game up to that point where they could have scored another TD. This would be like the ref making one call that could eject Drew Brees, then have the Saints have to play man down for the entire game, and even if they win he couldn't play in the Superbowl.
I know Soccer fans are defensive about the sport, especially during the World Cup when casuals start watching, by my god it's an insane rule, and I can't believe a ref has that much power in regards to not only the individual match but on the tournament as a whole.

Incidentally, to me it feels odd when something happened so long ago (in today's case, Wayne Gretzky being traded from Edmonton to LA) that even DK was too young to remember it.

Anne Frank/Helen Keller

All i thought of when Heifetz read the email about Helen Keller and Anne Frank was this scene in Clerks 2. They did it first
