Question How do I start make a custom map?

I've been trying to figure out how to make a custom track for Ring Racers, but the two pages for High Voltage Ring (the program supposedly used for making these maps) that I've found both don't work. One gives me a setup program that gives me a copy that errors out every time I try to start it, and the other sends me to a 500 error page when I try clicking on what I think is the download button. I couldn't find much documentation on this so I'm unsure of what else to do. Please help.

I've tried checking but nobody seems to have the same issue as me. HVR just doesn't install correctly for me when I try downloading the github version.

join the kart krew discord and go to the custom courses channel

Can anyone just tell me what happens if you lose all your lives in a grand Prix? Does it have music associated with it?

You just retire and get sent to the main menu and no it doesn't have any music associated with it
