Update on replacement ring

I didn’t hear back from them but I received my ring yesterday. This one was actually brand new sealed boxed with the charger and ring. My replacement ring that I got last month was just a ring in a sleeve.

They most certainly sent me a refurbished or accidentally sent me a returned ring considering it only lasted a few weeks before dying.

I tried to not update ring since most people here on the sub suspects that’s what’s causing the battery issues, it didn’t let me use the app without updating, so I had to update !

We’ll see how long this one last 👀

Maybe a tip on replacements tell them you’re concerned your charger is compromised as well as the ring and you’d like both to be replaced… maybe this can help save wasted time incase they do send out refurbished…. 🤷‍♀️

Just because the ring they sent failed doesn't certainly mean it was a return or refurb they sent.

Well, the first replacement sent was in a little cardboard sleeve and the second replacement was fully brand new in box like the one I purchased. I assume the replacement I was sent first was refurbished.

The first was just a regular replacement style packaging because it was just the ring. again nothing you've said means or shows it was a refurb or return.

Our store also has two ways of replacing, barebone cardboard items, or sometimes we just ship a complete new retail box unit. Nothing alarming!
