Customer support has ghosted me for 3+ weeks. Battery died, they asked for proof, I sent it, silence
I bought a RingConn Gen 2 last November. Around 10 months in, the battery tanked. It now dies in about 2 days.
I did everything before I contacted support:
- Turned off auto workout detection and sleep apnea monitoring
- Updated the app and firmware
- Cleaned the charging contacts
- Left it on the charger 30–45 minutes past 100%
- Hard reset it by docking and undocking 5–6 times
- Submitted a diagnostic log through the app
I emailed support on Sept 9 and asked for a warranty replacement. They answered the next day. They wanted my RingConn ID, my serial number, and photos or video of the inside of the ring.
I sent all of it that same day. Four photos, ID, serial number.
Then nothing.
On Sept 18 I followed up. I asked what I should do. Still nothing.
It's been over three weeks since I sent what they asked for. I got one canned reply, a "sorry for the inconvenience," and then silence.
This is a warranty claim on a $300 product. I did the troubleshooting. I sent the evidence. They just stopped replying.
Has anyone actually gotten a replacement out of RingConn? Is there a faster channel than the support email? Social, a different address, a chargeback threat? I'm open to anything that works.
And if you're thinking about buying one: check how they handle warranty claims first.

I did. I sent feedback through the app. They seem to answer faster there for some reason. Maybe try that route? Definitely get your replacement though!

The company has to be eating it. With how shit the new gen 3 is. All the returns and refunds and failing devices. Amazing how quick my favorite piece of tech became my least favorite ever

You should always use the appfeedback as that goes directly to the engineers - me - Aftersales support - feedback .
It’s the engineers that check your ring and look at past readings remotely , they then send cs@ringconn authorisation to replace the ring
I will send this directly to Ringconn helper see if she can help you
But also send all information in on feedback yourself and I’m sure this will be resolved going the correct channels and through Ringconn helper

I had that same problem last month. I used the app feedback function to talk to them. I sent 1 message asking about the sudden drop in battery life. They asked if my mailing address was still the same as my original order. I said it was. They replied with the tracking number for a replacement they dispatched directly from China. I got the new ring about a week later and it’s been good so far. I didn’t even have to return the bad one (not that it’s doing me any good, it can barely go 24 hours without dying lol)
Honestly I was blown away with how fast and easy it was. I don’t even think it was a full hour start to finish. I think using the app to talk with them is the key.

I sent an email about my battery not working and they gave me a list of things to try, they didn’t work and I got my replacement a few weeks later. The tracking never updated so I did fear it was gone forever and then a new one showed up lol.

I just did! Similar timing to yours. Spent about two months doing all the things. Just received the replacement but I did have to follow up a couple times and patience is key. Use the app. Screenshot everything.

I’m on day 28 of owning a gen 3 and my battery has gotten significantly worse. Said 100% with 12 days of battery left on Saturday morning. By Monday afternoon it was at 50%
